The Cuba Libre, or the rum and Coke as it’s more popularly known, is a classic for good reason. The drink comes together about as quick as can be, and it’s just as light and refreshing in a dimly lit dive bar as it is underneath the palms of a sunny tropical island. Using inspiration from this classic, we’re putting our own bodega spin on it by using Ironbeer instead of Coca-Cola. With highball and fizz variants to choose from, you can’t go wrong with either to introduce yourself to this delicious Cuban cola. It’s similar to a root beer or a Dr. Pepper, kicked up with just the right blend of island fruits and spices. It just might become your next soda obsession; it’s certainly my go-to.
