For roller hockey I would recommend the wrap-around with normal tape, this will give you less friction with the plastic bottom but won’t ruin you stick

I scrape the bottom on pavement before so then it’s just the plastic wrap around on the bottom. Also you won’t ruin your stick

The rubber blade tape is for roller hockey specifically but they make different ones for ice hockey.

Blade tape works well but does cost a bit when you constantly need to buy more rather then a tape roll lasting longer. Another tape similar that I’d suggest is Reztech Hockey Tape. You can get it in white or black now, or even get custom ones if you want to spend more.

I used these on my kids sticks for a couple seasons... cleaning the blade with a tiny bit of lacquer thinner will help keep them on much longer... once they hit peewees though , they get torn up after a game or two tops. Tape is better if you figure out long term costs ... Howies always has deals on tape 🤘🎅🤘

@@JaggerTalent Tape is used almost as much as protection for the blade as it is used for grip on the puck so losing that tape on the bottom of the stick will make the stick blade wear faster
