Visit of the abandoned station « Haxo », a Paris metro station that never opened on the RATP network. It is located under the Sérurier boulevard in the connection track between line 3bis at Porte des Lilas and line 7bis at Place des Fêtes also named « Voie des Fêtes ».
The section between the Porte des Lilas station (on line 3 bis) and Pré-Saint-Gervais (line 7 bis) should have been put into service in the 1920s, stopping at the intermediate station (and now ghost station) Haxo.
While the railway operator (Compagnie du Chemin de fer métropolitain de Paris, CMP) did not want the station to be constructed, the city of Paris, which owned the network in those days, went ahead and started the construction. This was a failed bet given that the railworks were never finished.
Haxo Station has never welcomed a single traveler, and no exit has been built.
