Are you using a quick shifter or using the clutch? What tires are you using?
@anthonycooper6612

Yes using a cordona quickshifter and running on pirelli supercorsa v3 sc1 front sc2 rear 👍
@tommykonsta

did you do an ECU flash or did you hook up your quick shifter to a power commander 6
@anthonycooper6612
5 ай бұрын
@tommykonsta it has had a ecu flash to set the fueling up but the cordona quickshifter is a completely separate unit that works independently. Works really well

What tires are you running and did you adjust suspension etc Can I also ask the average lean angles that you can accomplish or are on the track in the video. Trying to work towards that and some parameters would help me work towards those goals
@anthonycooper6612
2 ай бұрын
Hi was running pirelli supercorsa v3s sc1 120/70 front and sc2 190/55 rear on that trackday i think. Have the ohlins fgrt 208 front forks and ohlins shock, they work really well and are setup for my weight. Lean angle is not great just over 40 degrees at most, anymore and either scraping left side engine case or right hand side fairing and exhaust. Lean angle is the only thing slowing it down in the corners other than the weight obviously, but it's still great fun and pretty capable round the track 👍

@@anthonycooper6612 you’re an inspiration my friend. What advice would you give me to get to that point. Meaning. Set up the bike and as far as practice just do track days and for practicing everyday in parking lots what would you recommend as far as exercises?
@anthonycooper6612
2 ай бұрын
@tommykonsta Thanks. Firstly on the bike the tyres for sure, the brakes are pretty awful as standard, I'd recommend a brembo rcs19 front master cylinder and ditch the abs and run braided lines and some brembo z04 pads, those pads are really expensive but I tried a few different sets of other ones and couldn't get them to last a full day on track where the z04s get at least 3 days depending on the track. Had to change my brake discs after one track day as I cooked them and all the bobbins seized on them, I then put brembo t drive discs on and been great. It all depends on the pace u are going I guess. It all depends how far u want to go with everything, I never used the stock suspension and went straight for ohlins rear shock and initially ohlins fork internals and now changed to full ohlins forks. The list of stuff I've done to mine since I bought it in 2016 is massive changing most things and lightening anywhere I could. Personally I think the best thing to do is just get as many trackdays in as possible and work on the areas of the bike u feel u want to improve. I'm not sure of your pace or if you've done much on track before. People always dis the hayabusa but once u do a few things to it it becomes pretty capable. I love mine. Feel free to find me on fb messenger if u want to know anything or chat about your bike 👍
@tommykonsta

@@anthonycooper6612I am definitely at a slower pace than you. Would all those things you mentioned like the brakes, the tires, the master cylinders, etc. would they benefit me if I had a much lower pace at this point will work for me even at my slower pace better than the standard equipment ? The shifter you got you find works extremely well. Is it upshift and downshift?
@anthonycooper6612
2 ай бұрын
I guess maybe go and do a trackday first and see what u think to how the bike is , I'd definitely get a set of tyres before. The brakes may be ok but as u get quicker I think you'll be wanting to improve them. Hope u enjoy it as much as I do on track
