@birdmanslopy Tire expansion. The motorcycle was probably capped at 186mph, as most motorcycles made today are. Once a tire starts spinning to a significant speed(usually 75 mph or so), the tire expands due to the heat and spinning force. This causes the speedometer to read optimistic. However, a fifty dollar chip can let you go as fast as your bike(and willpower) will take you.

This bike almost crashed into our car on our vacation 2 years ago. It was in a corner and he came drifting through it. He almost slipped and then lowered his hand for the other bikers that were following him. Funny to see this guy back on YT :)

"Stretched swing arms" "pull off some crazy wheelies". Stop there
@icool247

@bmxiscore 1st off its called a swing arm, not sway bar. sway bars are for cars. 2nd people extend their swing arms because most likely they drag race(not in this vid though). not that they cant handle the stock wheelbase, but who wants to drag race their bike and having it come up in every gear? you'll waste too much time because you're gonna let off the throttle to bring it back down. while you're wheeling the other guy flys right past you...

Yes it does look like it is for drag races. I've seen several bikes like that here but they are not used for drag racing. Just for appearances. They look unique and I kind of like the design.

@birdmanslopy They are restricted to 186mph (299km/h) in my country at least. Most of the big bikes are, including my fireblade. I'm not sure if this changes in different countries or what.

i would say its the opposite i think its harder to do it on a a regular while a long one give you more room to feel and spin the bike cuz obviously he's got a longer swing and being in front easier leverage also he can plan out his next move not to mansion enjoy the process ... im so gonna try this one day... looks incredibly fun!

thats right! you have a bad handling when you stretch the bike. but the front wheel doesnt come off and thats good by a race (for example 1/4 mile). the new bikes are all smaler and thats good for the handling. (sry for my english, i`m from german)

that bike is designed, ingeneered for speed it's the embodiment of pure mechanical desire of speed. and here he comes and custom extends the rear whell. u look me into the eyes and tell me that bike is as good as a stock bike and that u really do have the courage to race it against a stock busa. on a twisty road, with a cliff right beside u. tires are not the point here of course a busa owner one definetly affords tires... but that is just descusting

I bet that bike is faster than stock.. And the point of the extended swing arm is for drag racing.. and best when your turbo'd and dont want the front end coming up on every pull. I wouldnt say it handles better... But its for people who are into drag racing and centering the gravity of the bike.. and for looks.. If you dont like them... simple dont buy one lol.. I like stock busa's but I think they look even better when they are lowered and stretched
