This is an incredible guitar. It's good, it handles drop A# as well as standard and it is comfy to play. I got tired of the batteries in the active pickups and installed several expensive ones before discovered EMG LF DMF. The DMF "Dirty Middle Finger " pickup is amazing. Do not try to mod the pickup just install it and enjoy. Make sure you remove the bridge and clean the grounds mine would occasionally humm , ring and that fixed it. The factory pickups are good, just got tired of the dead batts.

Hello from Japan. I see Haze guitars has released a lefty Tele hollowbody. Any experience playing their Tele hollow bodies? Thanks for your time.

Thinking about buying a Haze guitar (HSTL) for like $230, for jazzy/classical vibes. It is worth it, at that price point? Great video as well man! Keep up the good work.

Hi mate. Only just saw this. Quite honestly, I have been to the Haze warehouse in Sydney, and I gotta say, pretty much every guitar I picked up an played was pretty awesome! A lot of more affordable "made in china" type guitars are honestly pretty sketchy. I work somewhere that sells a couple of other cheap brand guitars at about that price and quite often they are trash. Its little things like weird finish issues, or frets that not only haven't been propperly profiled but actually have sharp edges that will cut you.. Haze (at least all the ones I saw) were beautifully finished, highly playable and great sounding. I should point out that I am totally NOT a gear snob, I have worked in music retail on and off since '95 so I'm over the whole "Guitars should be treated with reverence" idology. I have played a $30000 les paul that I straight up hated. If you are not concerned with having a classic name on the headstock, you will probably be super happy with the value that can be found in that Haze guitar. Especially at that price.. I am also currently building one of their kit guitars and it is quite good too! Like all kits it needs a little work, but I was pleasantply suprised with the raw parts.
