That kick serve at 3:14 ..... O_O So much action and he placed it so short and out into the box.

@jackmasterdick False, Federer played serve-volley as a kid and mostly sliced his backhands. By the time he was up there, he felt that switching to a double-handed backhand would be too detrimental and stuck to his comparatively "weak" backhand.

@3timeMVPNash true. compared to a 100sqinch racquet, the wilson is not that much smaller if you put the frames on top of each other. the weight makes swinging the stick so easy. you don't even notice the weight because it's so headlight. but when you have to react quickly, this racquet will slow your arm down in most of the situations. but that's nothing you can't compensate with a bit of forearm training ;) i just love that stick!

@idontknow1919 what you see here is not practice of serving, they just want to get back their serve rhythm, feeling for ball toss and where to hit the ball if they want to hit in the other service box. so they just try to throw in as many balls as possible in a short period of time.

@kulakanwae I think he was just fucking around and tried to do a roddick serve. He actually did them quite a bit as well as 2 handed backhands, but I did not chose to shoot any of those, maybe I should have looking back, but my SDHC cards were filling up so fast and I had just about 10 mins for 30 mins worth of practice.

When it's raining, then I guess they will only practice serving. Hard courts are dangerous even when there's just a little bit of rain for quick change of direction movement.

the kfactor, six one tour and the pro staff are pretty much the same. Anyone under pro level would hardly know the difference. (attention to strings and tension will make much greater impact for the hobby player) And on top of that the specs on the racket Fed is using is different than all three

Think you're right. Fed could win easily w two handed backhand . Borg won five Wimbledon w two handed BH. He'd still slice w one hand when the situation called for it. Fed no doubt could do the same. And Feds serve bigger weapon than anyone cause of both speed , variety, and placement.
@sultanabran1

if roger had a two handed backhand, he wouldn't have the variety or net ability that he has. early in his career when courts were fast, he would've been no where. 2 handed wouldn't suit his game. he is who he is because of what he is. any difference in any part of his game would make him different and not for the better.
