The fact that he picked up the guitar 🎸and learned how play to write music to contribute to the song writing process goes to show his die hard work ethic. This was Soundgarden at their peak...when this was filmed they were hands down the best band on the planet...I remember,I was 22 when this album came out & I listened to obsessively for about 2 months 🤘🏻

Still almost 3 years later and I still am stunned that Chris is gone. 2 days before he passed I was online looking to buy tickets for them provided they would be playing in Chicago or Milwaukee. On that tour they were not so I said well they we be back through the Chicago area soon enough. 2 days later on my way into work when I heard the news on the radio. I regret never seeing him perform live.

Those last words sung with that much power and he still hit every single note at perfect pitch. Very few singers can do that live, even some of the great ones have difficulties with that kind of live singing.

I'll never forget waiting for Superunknown to come out in 93 was it ? This was the heaviest song on there so I jammed it alot but loved it all. I was 32 and an aging rock fan and still am at 62. I sure miss Soundgarden and all those bands from the day. Mailman always stood out for me what an amazing song from this amazing band

Potato level mid 40s bassist and longtime SG fan here. It's 2024 and when I say that THIS RIGHT HERE Mailman is THE ONLY "HOW TO MAKE YOUR TELES SOUND DOOMY 101" track ever I mean it... I've YET TO FIND OR HEARD OF ANY OTHER GUITARISTS IN ACTS OLD AND NEW to have ever successfully come close to how this 2 have done it in this performance. Truly 1 of a kind. With one of them sorely missed gone too soon. Underscores the immortal importance of Soundgarden's contribution to rock and roll.
