It's so cool to hear a classic in its beginning stages where they don't have all bugs worked out yet. It only contributes to the raw power of it in a funny sort of way. Great stuff!

This is truly a perfect band and havin Copeland on drums doesn't hurt. Can't forget Sommers with his nearly impossible hand stretches. Oh and Sting on vocals too. I truly think they are a perfect band.

Yeah you get tired real easy playing that opening riff... Even Simmers struggles a tiny bit sometimes in these early recordings which gives me a bit of a pat on the back sometimes 😂

What a genius - one of the best riff in rock not to mention Copeland creativity trying to catch up with the singer and Summers technicality to make it possible --

one of my fave songs ever..lyrics chords.. Sting Andy.. and Stewart you killed song.. and the first ever performance before Sting started to add the Bob Marley ‘Yo yo yo.. which got rather repetitious in future performance and a future album Regatta de Blanc..

I tend to categorise singers as having a strings, woodwind or brass like voice. James Brown was a trumpet, Alison Moyet clarinet/bassoon. I can't decide about Sting. Something unique.
