He going to get another Pulitzer this year...he is talking from the cultures point of view..thats why he said i represent all of you..Yea, the lyrics are literally everything that is wrong with the culture, everyone is wanting to represent the hood but he's like wtf did the hood ever do, but keep people down and make people that dont/never lived it money, again the culture. Every face represented is known for something negatively in the culture or tragic dea**s that happened way to soon impacting the culture. Then he makes it upbeat and dances happily to lyrics that are so upsetting, but only people that listen to the lyrics will understand, while the others can't bump it in the club so their going say call it trash. Again..THE CULTURE...then he talks from Nipseys point of view of how you could take his death and learn from it, make positive adjustments for the culture 💯🐐❤️🔥

7:04 He is the greatest rapper of the new generation, he is even considered to be one of the greatest to ever do it, next to 2pac, biggie, eminem. For the last 10 years almost there has been a... lets say a competition amongst hip hop fans, about who gets the number one spot, people argue over who is better Kenrick Lamar or J. Cole, but it seems that Kendricks name comes up more of than J. Cole's, even though more people in the last year or two lean more to J. Coles side since he dropped an album last year and Kendrick hasn't dropped one in the last 5 years or so. You need to react to - m.A.A.d. city- album, - To Pimp A Butterfly - album and D.A.M.N. album, all by Kendrick.

Since its release from the audio to the visual. It goes back to perspectives. When I'm listening to the audio it all sounds like Kendrick perspective on many things that frustrates him, in my opinion the system of racism/white supremacy, the term 'culture' and how that has become a empty slogan. Also his perspective of the fans and his city Compton on not embracing his positivity enough for them to be their own leader. I think if you listen to the first two verses I believe it's also him saying that white people have programmed us so long that the default setting is to label various black males as the face of many areas of activity and having zero self respect if they fall in life or death. It's powerful listening to the audio and watching the visual. I hope you found my comment constructive.
