Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai appears in this inspiring film about her triumph over the forces of oppression. As a young girl growing up on Pakistan, Malala became a courageous advocate for women's education -- a fundamental human right opposed by the Taliban. While riding on a school bus, she was attacked by a Taliban assassin who shot her three times in the face. After miraculously surviving this attempt to take her life, she continued to be a voice for the voiceless. This led to her receiving the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014.
