Fun facts: when Michael started singing before the beat kicked in, everyone on set was so shook, they needed a few minutes before they started filming again lol! And that girl in the video got fired on a show where she wasn't supposed to kiss Michael but she did lmaooo she had a major crush on him
@gabkoost
3 жыл бұрын
This girl not only had a crush on him but Michael was notoriously in love with her too. She toured with him during the Bad era. They were both advised to not get involved with each other because of the impact it could have on the entire project. The attraction between them during live shows was undeniable and indeed, they really kissed once. She was fired as a result and never stopped claiming that MJ family and entourage always tried to sabotage his relations and had a role in keeping him isolated from real human relationships for a great part of his life. Her appearance at MJ's funeral was also an issue as the family didn't like her. Yet, she went anyways to say goodbye to someone she had loved during her younger days.

Michael put a lot of effort into putting on a great performance and show and loved delighting us with his enormous creativity combined with his high standards and perfectionism. He worked hard to make it look so easy. He loved making short films. He didn't think of them as music videos as much as the format of a short film to tell a story and dazzle you visually as well as vocally.please promise me you will react to more of his short films and get your mind blown‼️. Smooth Criminal, Black and White, oh, the list is too long but well worth the time🎶✌️

In the 1980´s and probably somewhat in 1990´s Michael Jackson was the top singer in the world. YESSSS! Never fully appreciated this song until the Bad 25th doco where this song was broken down and they showed the intricacies of the instruments/production and for me, it's when the _"Horns" kick in_ at the 2nd verse around 4:27 mark, each part is played differently yet subtlety 4:50 4:55 4:59 5:10 and more, it's now my all time fave MJ song. NO ONE dances like MJ. If you looked at every still frame, his body would never be out of position. SMOOTH squared. Note the two shout-out references: "I'm working 9 to 5" from his "Rock With Me" album. . . and notice how he rips his shirt open and cries out loud near the end. This a foreshadowing of his performance in "Black or White" song. Genius, genius, genius.
