That steel guitar is one of the most beautiful sounds ever created. It's a lonesome, somber, lonely sound....almost like an old steam locomotive pulling freight through the dark night. I wish they'd put the steel guitar back into country music.?

@@fido3561 I don't know how to upload things...I'm technologically challenged. If you want to hear something awesome (I thought it was) look up Sarah Jory. @@allanwilkerson6426 I have seen Sarah's video. Just as you wrote ,she is fantastic. If I remember right at the age of 19 Sarah rated 5th among the steel guitar players. Glad to hear of someone else who steel guitar playing. Thanks for the reply. Take care, stay safe and stay well. Billy

Hi Sally hope this is some consultation , your tony Browne was the first video recommended to me by tube , I use to come home from my long hours out on the road driving hgv fuel tankers and his playing and songs just destressed me the way he played , and he also inspired me to go out and purchase my first pedal steel guitar over seven years ago .it was bizarre as I bought it from a musician not far , outside Liverpool I couldn't believe it on the way home back to Scotland I had received many wishes of good luck from the members of the British pedal steel society , I had only joined out of curiosity to seek out any one in the UK possible selling a guitar .,which one did come up .the UK has many great pedal steel players , the society put me in touch with the good folks that ran the Scottish psg club in cartcosh..again many great players there including Bob Adams who repairs ,rebuilds the guitars as mines had levers taken off and had to be reset up ., but I still consider ,tony Browne to have been one of the finest and best players in great Britain ., And I still continue to watch his videos ..👍👏👏👏👏🏴🇬🇧

He said, "I'll love you till I die" She told him, "You'll forget in time" As the years went slowly by She still preyed upon his mind He kept her picture on his wall Went half-crazy, now and then He still loved her through it all Hoping she'd come back again Kept some letters by his bed Dated 1962 He had underlined in red Every single 'I love you' I went to see him just today Oh, but I didn't see no tears All dressed up to go away First time I'd seen him smile in years He stopped loving her today They placed a wreath upon his door And soon they'll carry him away He stopped loving her today You know, she came to see him one last time Oh, and we all wondered if she would And it kept running through my mind This time he's over her for good He stopped loving her today They placed a wreath upon his door And soon they'll carry him away He stopped loving her today

"Played on the Sho-Bud." Shot Jackson and Buddy Emmons created a very high-quality instrument. No doubt of that. But, It takes a master of the instrument, in this case, David Hartley, to bring it to life. I watched a man whose wife was a well-known country singer showing off his expensive Sho-Bud. The instrument deserved a better player for sure.
