The actual story is Maoridom ceded sovereignty for equality, read the whole document put it together and that is what you get and it is the only thing that could have been arrived then. Nothing has changed since. There hasn’t been another treaaty signed has there ?

Maori must give the History of the Chiefs mahi that allowed the only indigenous nation natives to be INSTITUTED as their own nation as a CONFEDERATION now research the difference between a Confederation a Federation and Sovereign law... India views its SUPEME COURT the peoples court ...no need to stay a sovereign SUBJECT when one is a Patriot to the Chiefs Declaration of independence 1835 that states ALL have equal rights under the DOI 1835.... We need to stop giving the infant discription, Where does this Chiefs Declaration of Independant's sit in International law ....ngamihi

"The French are coming to take our land" That is the "bases and reason" James Busby got the far North Chiefs (It wasn't "their" idea!!) to sigh a document called He Wakaputanga. They could even come together and form a sensible government and form laws. The Chief were too engrossed in war and utu!! Their only contribution was to choose a flag. And that was Busby idea as well. Shipping trading in early NZ, needed a flag (to define the country) to trade!! This guy is talking hog wash
