He Who fights with monsters has one of the most fun inter character banter i've read in a long while all the jokes between each other land really well and, while the book is definitely a bit serious at times it made me chuckle nearly every chapter ^^

great review with one little caveat, the guy who summoned jason was not doing it for the blood ritual and also did not intend to summon jason at all. Jason will find out later what exactly happened but i dont want to spoil anything here of course.

Great review! I read the first He Who Fights with Monsters book not long ago and while I liked it I decided to hold off on reading the rest of what is available for that series. I will definitely go back to it later though.

This is my absolute favorite series, i even got other people into it who like it just as much as me. Some other litrpg books I recommend are Shadeslinger:ripple system ( I really enjoyed the audiobook for this one travis baldree is an excellent narrator )(it takes place in a new vrmmo the side characters and banter are absolutely hilarious and just a fun read/ listen overall) Apocalypse redux( my favorite apocalypse series)(imagine if one day a system screen appears saying humanity now has access to summon monsters and level up, the main character is the last survivor on earth with monsters flooding the world absolutely destroyed he’s given a chance to go back to when it all started and prevent humanity from destroying themselves will he succeeded who knows but he’ll try his best) Beware of chicken( a fun cultivation slice of life with fun adventures lots of character depth) Mark of the fool( a power that actively makes his life harder but the main character turns it around and works past it in order to do what they want regardless)

Good video. I like your reviews. He Who Fights with Monsters is one of my favorite litRPGs. It has some of the best side characters and one of the better systems I've seen in a Lit RPG. I suggest the Book of The Dead Awakening its another Lit RPG.

I am so thankful that I found this channel, this is amazing. I love this type of content. Please ask your dad if he has read the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan and if he has, how would he rate it out of 10? Thank you 🙏🏼

Thanks! He has definitely read Wheel of Time and rates it a 10! He read it quite a while ago and I asked if he would still rate it a 10. He said absolutely. It was apparently the series that got him interested in reading fantasy books.

Well Done. Another great review! HWFWM is amazing and difficult to describe, haha. It gets a bit deep into World and Character drama in the later books [which are long] but is a great ride! I would suggest that people try out audio books to get through some of these longer and more dense stories, while driving or using your hands to get some work done. Have you considered reading/reviewing "Nova Terra" by Seth Ring? I'm greatly enjoying it and think you would too. [The first series is 8 books and the second 6+]

Thanks for the referral. Talking to my father it sounds like that series is already read and will be one of the reviews next month. I read Battle Mage Farmer from this author, based on a recommendation from him, and it is also a fun read.
