“It’s a game of chance”? What a dumb statement. Poor decision making on his part should’ve been his statement. Be a real coach and own it! Lost a little respect for this guy.

Agreed. It’s not a game of chance. It was a dumb thing to say. Words have meaning.

If I were TVD, in the huddle, I would've said "victory formation" on 2, and deal with whatever consequences later. You'd be 5-0

I would blame the running back for fumbling. He should have never fumbled it

This man has some nerve to stand up there and break down the flaws of the game when he created this loss single-handedly!

Listen, if TVD a true NFL QB he should just take a knee and tell the OC and Mario get the F up.

It's a bitter pill to swallow. I don't get why you don't take a knee and win an ugly game. Going into the unc game, how does this team focus after being embarrassed in the end? 2 weeks of tough football for Miami vs unc n Clemson.

This Game was over by simply taking a knee…period………. The Truth is the truth and not fantasy/ fandom!!! “ Facts”- the schedule is in front of us we must put this lost behind us and move on and get ready for UNC , “again” facts truth is - “if “ we win the last 7 games- thinking positive not negative-( we control our destiny,/ out come ) on TOP of the ACC. why talk about something that you cannot control the lost . change you through process and move on !

Nobody sounds dumber than football coaches trying to outsmarterate themselves.
