Rod Morgenstein is one of the most under-rated drummers, and Reb Beach is a fantastic guitar player... the solo in this song was one of my favorites for years.

Reb Beach at the time was getting noticed and did a few interviews in the guitar magazines of the day but after “She’s only 17” and this song kind of fell by the wayside. Which is a sad thing as his guitar playing was absolutely amazing and this song shows his genius and talent. Another very underrated guitarist of the era was Joey Allen of Warrant. Anyway, this song brings back fond memories of being 19 and in the Marines in SC. Still one of my favorite songs to this day.

Absolutely. They were a really good progressive metal band that uses glam metal lyrics with progressive metal elements with their popularity at the highest with the first two albums they ever made. Winger has been around since the mid to late 1980s which is still amazing to hear.
