Ah, you must be in the U.S. now! I'm like you, born in the U.S., lived in Lagos from toddler to teens then returned to U.S. now with 3 children and desperate for my boys to know the type of care-free life I enjoyed as a kid growing up in Nigeria. I remember playing outside with friends after school till the sun started to set and then it was dinner time. I could never allow my children to actually play outside our house. With all that's going on in the U.S. these days, my spirit won't allow me. Besides, no one else's children are outside! We have everything that money can allow one to buy but something's missing. My children had an absolute blast the first time they went home 2 yrs ago. Hope to see more of your videos!

From your video I can see there has been a lot of improvement at the airport compare with 2018 when I visited Nigeria. It is always fun to visit home but the stress is just a bit of the price to pay for visiting. The airport could have been more fun and less stress if only those multitude of people with no reason to be at the airport can stay away. The begging culture won’t go away because people working at the airport prefer it more than their salary. Thanks 👍

Just discovered your content. Watched the mainland v island video first ( you nailed it ) - this airport one is also on point. The money issue is still going on. I experienced it on arrival at Lagos a couple of years back (2017), with immigration and police on departure. They went through luggage asking for things ( gave away a portable speaker), which I didn’t really mind giving away anyway, but it is frustrating in terms of the number of checks/delays and the awkward conversations around solicitation of money from those travelling. Keep up the great content. Subscribed. 🔥🙌🏽🦅
