My looperboard switches have been acting up recently after about 2 years with the HRLB. So, I decided to order those small bear switches mentioned on several Headrush facebook groups. Look them up and join them to read the entertaining details/comments.
Parts ordered with shipping ($57):
6 top row: replaced with SWST0206A
6 bottom row: replaced with SWST0206B

Soldering (not recorded) and replacement was no problem, but I did run into a obstacle when I realized that the small bear switches had a notched groove along the length of the threaded shaft that is on the opposite side as the original HR switches notches. Because of this notch, the Bear switches did not fit. I ended up deciding to file down the sheet metal on the HRLB in order to install the new switches. The problem to be aware of is that this notch is supposed to prevent the switch from rotating when installed, so after filing down, I had to be careful to tighten carefully so as to prevent rotation. I will keep an eye on this if the switches become loose.
Use this to decide whether you want to take on this project. It took me about 3 hours.
I didn't bother contacting Bear switches to find out if they carried the same switch but with a different grooved notch location. You may want to check that.
Finally, I can't justify or have the budget for another looperpedal, but if the HRLB ever quits on me, then I have a backup plan with a simple little 2 button looper (TC's Ditto x 2). I find that I should always be ready with a backup plan. This forces me to really know my songs, patterns, and to make sure I'm not just relying on backing tracks.

Enjoy!
