In Europe buildings have blinds/shutters that are kept shut during the day to keep cool. My 95 year old neighbour keeps her curtains closed when it’s hot (for London) … if you don’t use any window coverings they might help keep the building cooler . Just a suggestion

Hi 👋🏻 I'm a new subscriber 🤗 I've been wanting to make some of those hobo packets and your idea looks like what we'd like. Love using using real whole foods 👌🏻 Idk what it is about those bags of carrots...but for me, they don't seem to cook down to a good texture. I buy the carrots with their tops still on and clean & slice them up. I know it's a little more work...but I really think you'll like them when you try them 🤗

I have had that same thing happen to me a couple of times with baby carrots too. It has only happened a couple times, didn't make the connection that it was the baby carrots. I'll have to keep an eye on that. I was just thinking it was like potatoes because some potatoes I have to cook longer than other to get them soft even though they are the same kind I always buy.

I love the hobo packet idea!! How long did you cook them for & was it on low/high? And did it have to sit in a water bath for steam? Or just in foil packets that heated through on their own stacked? Thank you!
@coffeeandgrace1891
Жыл бұрын
I cooked them on low probably 9 hours. (No water needed) I didn't time it because I was away from the house all day. They cooked all the way through stacked. (Potatoes and carrots were soft as well)

Hi. It's my first time watching your videos. Everything you made looks very tasty. I'm wondering if you seasoned any of your meat, besides the ground beef? Also, I am curious as to what temp and how long you cooked your meals? Thank you for sharing these yummy recipes! Love from Texas ❤

Hi! No, I didn't season the other meats. I let the bbq sauce and salsa season those ones. The chicken I cooked for 5 hours and the pork was 8 hours. Thanks for watching!
