I had open heart surgery when I was 65 yro. It took me a full year to recover. I am glad I did because I have been able to shoot at the range to this day, albeit from a bench @77 yro. I had a mini stroke a year ago which I did not even know occurred except that it caused a blind spot in my right eye. I have been training myself to aim and shoot rifles below the blind spot, and aim and shoot pistols with my left eye. Hope your recovery keeps getting better Mike. Keep on shooting. I lost weight by not eating sugar and carbohydrates. I eat a high protein diet everyday.
