Hey! Good to see you :) I too struggle with anxiety and stress. I notice that many times the thoughts that I have are the contributing factor to anxious feelings. I then take time to let go of the things I have no control over and focus on my Savior, Jesus who is trustworthy and He keeps me in perfect peace as I stay fixed on Him and how He is taking care of what concerns me.John 3:16-17, Isaiah 26:3, 1 Peter 5:7. I also love being in nature as it feels so comforting to know that it is there for me to enjoy and I feel closer to God when I spend time in His creation thinking on how good He is. Focusing on His love for me and His sovereignty brings much peace and joy. I pray these things can also help others as they struggle with anxiety. Much love!

Going into nature always brings me back to my center. Sometimes I’ll listen to music to help get my mind off stressful things too. I like having hot green tea with honey sometimes and I was going to therapy for just over a year to help me better manage my anxiety and it definitely helped lessen my anxiety. I’m also trying the app to see how I like it 💜

I love all of these... one additional one that i do when im having a stressful day is put my hand on my heart or give myself a hug and just quiet my thoughts and come back to "present." Literally takes a few seconds to feel better. If you have a bit extra time is to continue to hold yourself and wiggle small movements (think rocking a baby), and focusing on breathing for a few minutes. Maybe sounds silly but it really does help. ❤ thanks for such a beautiful video.

When the whole pandemic start I’ve experienced anxiety like never before. At first I didn’t even know what it was. It was not the fear of a sickness but rather what all those changes mean for the world. For the very first time I felt that something in the world changed and there is no going back to “normal.” As a Christian I knew that the only hope for anxiety is faith in Jesus. He hold my yesterday, today and tomorrow in His hands. I really have no control over this world and what is going to happen but I know that my Father is holding me in the palm of His hand. It took me awhile to get this - I need to release everything to Jesus, put my total trust in Him, His love for me and His goodness. There are many things that my work for a bit (unfortunately many spirituality dangerous) but real peace I and freedom is found only in Jesus. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 4 Philip. 4-6-7. Praying for you Rachel. May the Lord Jesus give you complete victory over anxiety,

I feel like the phones are the main villains when fighting stress and anxiety in today's world. Using a phone to calm yourself feels counterproductive to me. I prefer to work out and get outside when everything gets heavy. I LOVE to get up, get out, and get hot! I also love to dance! (Ballroom dancing is my favorite because you're physically and mentally using every inch of your body AND your brain simultaneously throughout the whole time.) Being active and not still is working SO GOOD for me, and I used to LOVE being still on the couch. But I'm 46, so I can't do that anymore. I recently found Lysa TerKeurst on KZitem - Women of Faith on TBN is the name of her AMAZING Christian channel. I love Faith and Flour on KZitem, too, and that lady's name is Robyn. I recently deleted all the apps (Calm, Breethe, and Headspace) from my phone, because they were expensive for one, and I find that getting outside in nature, and NOT in a gym, (we are in the 70s here in South Louisiana, but get up, get out, and get hot no matter what!), is the BEST thing! But whatever works is the best thing! I'd LOVE to start MORE VIDEOS like that from you. AND physical exercise daily will also make you suffer LESS, believe it or not. Sitting is the NEW SMOKING!!!! #MOVEMENTANDACTIVITYWORKS!!
