Cheers P.S. thanks so much for sharing this conversation... it was really really interesting... I absolutely love Dr Cowan's thought process and delivery/demeanor. The discussion that starts at 44:50 about the "life force" with the example of the carrot vs the pile of it's component parts on a table, got me thinking of isolated nutritional supplements. It's argued the body cannot use these lab-derived substances because the body doesn't recognize them as natural unless they are in they're "natural state", like vitamin C from a green pepper rather than a pill. This is partially because vitamins do not work without minerals and man is not smarter than Creation to be able to combine them. I take all kinds of supplements, but I'm always open to being talked out of it, especially considering the cost! I wish more KZitemrs would talk about this topic... hint, hint. : )

An a mechanic, an engineer, a plumber and someone who works with hydraulics.....I concur with Doc Cowan...he makes sense on a physical level....the standard "heart is a pump" is physically impossible. I wonder if the "pulse" of the heart is the orchestrator of some kind of body-wide electric wave that sends electro-vibrations through the capilaries on a cellular level. Also....think about the lymphatic system...a vast circulation throught the body...with no pump! no lymph heart! Why is this knowledge not widespread?

Yes, you are right it is an electrical circuit that energizes the heart to change from a relaxed state to squeeze the heart to move blood to the next path. However, Covid has increased the A-Fib in the population to a great extent. And this has caused hearts to fail in every part of the world. Maybe God has made the energy move blood in all animals on earth.

Viktor Schauberger's work can explain the movement of blood based on the formation of a vacuum space in the vessel and static electrical charge; Nature abhors a vacuum and quickly closes the space, which pulls the blood forward (see Viktor's explanation of salmon moving upstream for spawning). Also, the heart is a vortex, it's shape is critical, and its ventricles 'twist' versus pumping. (The blood of a fetus begins flowing through it before the heart begins to pump.) A doctor in NY is surgically correcting the shape of 'diseased' misshapen hearts to completely alleviate cardiovascular issues merely by restoring the vortex function. It boils down to electrical charge to form the necessary double-helix shaped (plasma, Birkeland current) flow of water (blood and rivers) to maintain full function, health, and restoration.

This is such basic stuff and seeing Mike not push back on any of these claims is quite disturbing.

Phases of a substance don’t require other substances to be achieved. And no sane person would expect water to pour out during an operation. Also, trees absorb water by capillary forces and osmosis. Thanks for the interview. I have 2 things: 1) One of this guy's fundamental remarks is his "engineering" point, claiming that if you let a fluid flow from larger cross-section tube to smaller cross-section tube, the velocity increases. This is of course correct, but irrelevant to the topic of bloodstream. He seems to miss the basic point of the TOTAL cross-section of each of the subsequent smaller vessels down to the capilaries get gradually larger. TOTAL cross-section of ALL the capilaries > (is bigger than) > the cross-section of the aorta. FFS. =o) 2) The way he goes on to describe the "vital force" or however he prefers to call it, especially in the carrot analogy, one can simply substitute the "life force" for a simple elegant and non-woo word "complexity". COMPLEXITY is the thing that makes the difference between a pile of powdered atomic elements and carrot or a beetroot made out of the same elements. Complexity and differences on the level of it. Should have learned to code, would have been beneficial. There are other points to make, but most of them were already made by others commenting herein.
@damonthomas8955
4 жыл бұрын
I would think that given the massive increase in friction as the blood moves through the capillaries, his observations on laminar flow and the venturi effect would hold true, regardless of the total cross sectional area of the capillary system. I am not an engineer, I am basing this assumption purely on my observations of nature.

He lost me at 13:48. Common sense can explain the questions he is asking. Of course the blood is going the same speed when entering and leaving the heart, that is the only possible way a pump works in a closed system with liquid. It also makes sense that the flow is fastest because of the difference in pressure without resistance. Regarding the blood slowing at the capillaries, that makes sense because they are restricting blood flow. I'll give him a few more minutes to come up with something good before I check out completely. So far, I'm not impressed. Ok, watched a little more and I call complete B.S. The simplest way to understand this is there is obviously more pressure leaving the heart than entering it, therefore it is creating the pressure. Case closed, stop wasting people's time with dumb theories.

This is partially because vitamins do not work without minerals and man is not smarter than Creation to be able to combine them properly. I take all kinds of supplements, but I'm always open to being talked out of it, especially considering the cost! I wish more KZitemrs would talk about this topic... hint, hint. : )

I have suffered with blood issues myself and having tried lots of these things like grounding, sun exposure and other things I started noticing changes. This makes a lot of sense to certain point. I know the best way to come about it is to experiment yourself and see what works but it was just nice to see what could possibly be the science behind some of it. Thanks again Mike, I've been a follower of your channel for a long time and you have no idea how amazing it is to have a channel like yours around. Amazing interview! How extremely relevant today, especially the last part about freedom. It seems the global events since this interview have catapulted many into looking for more information like this. I listened to Dr. Tom Cowan do a webinar with Dr. Andrew Kaufman and he discussed his research on the heart. He mentioned in this more recent interview that electromagnetism may be involved in the circulation of blood through the body. I'm really fascinated by the idea of electromagnetism and also the heart in general. I'm excited to see how global consciousness will evolve in our understanding of circulation and life force energy within the next 10 to 30 years!

Love this and can’t wait to read his book- this concept of the heart matches the brain-heart coherence, and ancient texts speaking that the heart center IS THE CENTER and that it is a heart-brain, not just this pump. It has 40,000+ sensory neurons wrapped around it and why transplants “feel” the other soul. Adored the concept of life force of the form (a form related unique essence) because that digs into the ancient concept of chi. WOW. So there were so many places this interview could have gone even deeper, however, this seemed like a super painful interview. 15:00 and on: yeah well the heart is not only a pressure but also a suction pump because circulation is a closed system. and it doesnt pump around the world it pumps about 3,5 meters tops. muscle movement DOES contribute to pumping the blood: breathingmuscles, calves and so on. (paralysed people DO have problems with circulation and tend to die from them sooner or later) this is helped by the valvesystem of the veines that only allows blood flow to the heart. and then there is osmosis that also does its part. sorry but this guy doesn't understand very basic physical and pysiological connections.

Much 🐂 💩 whoo-whoo here. Wear your tall boots! 🤣 Structured water? Really? LOL. 🤣 Also, blood slows as it progresses from heart arteries to smaller branches and almost stops in capillaries because the combined volume of the smaller branches and capillaries is large enough that blood pressure decreases in those smaller vessels, allowing blood velocity & pressure to decrease to a level that matches what cells require to intake nutrients from the slowed blood and output metabolites. Our endocrine system manages our blood pressure by changing our total blood plasma volume and by changing arterial wall pressures by expanding or contracting arterial muscles appropriately to keep blood flowing properly. Unless we're dead. Which happens eventually. 😵 Don't walk, run from this whoo-whoo nonsense. Before you get some on you. 😳😵💫

Feel the same at beginning, but consider how he could feel himself convinced (scientifically at not just with faith in an ungrounded theory) about those ideas and just listen questions or doubt about the exact same counter points he points as ‘not making sense’. It remember a personal experience while recovering on hospital bed after a MI and trying to explain to ‘professors’, morning after morning why I won’t take statins. After hospital during ‘recovery’ period where they make you do some good cardio exercises, why cholesterol stuff and fat clog your arteries, while in the sale time my own generalist just admitted that this ‘silly’ LCHF thing just work for me and she better have to work with me as a team on a ‘n=1’ kind of experiment. I sometimes act as ‘arrogant’ because I just was fed up, knowing in advance that I will need to explain ‘again’ and except the usual ‘debunct argument’ that are not science but just ‘proved bad science presented as accepted theory’ (read Ancel Keys here). What stun me here is I remember one of those nights when I encountered a paper from Stephany Steneff that explain MI as a last ressort action to restore this ‘water exclusion zone’. Wonder why this guy do not mention this as this seems exactly the same topic. Perhaps our host could investigate this. I could try to find the paper, but it’s on MIT where she works (a very kind lady btw). One other interesting topic would also be in on a counter argument of why BP lowering medication don’t work, or just plateau on the ‘borderline’ level the doctors aren’t having a agreement, and perhaps as this is sort of proof that this didn’t adresse the cause but try to address wrongfully ‘problem’. So perhaps seek what addressing the circulation/flux problem using that theory while stop taking those medicines and let the body find the proper solution as the BP increase is in the way for the body to address the current cause ?

Very Interesting session....I did learn a lot from Dr. Cowan's wealth of information. Loved his info on growing wild food, etc. However, surprised nothing was said about the teaching of the Asian and Indian cultures. In my learning of Qi Gong - (Qi (pronouched Chee means energy) which is known as our Life Force and Gong being how we use movements with our guiding hands to encourage our energy and breath to flow through every cell in our body. Interestingly Qi Gong does also believe and teaches that our heart does not pump our blood - so I agree totally with what Dr. Cowan has said..I was waiting with "bated breath" hoping to hear what does cause the heart to pump. Our Life Force is actually our Breath that moves the energy that triggers the heart to pump....Our Breath! When we pass from this world, our heart stops first - but what happens next and lastly is a release of our final exhale. One last point: our Heart is not just mechanical - it does exude love, compassion, faith, and through our intention has the ability to forgive.. Our beating heart houses our very soul.....Our Eastern and Western cultures should merge.....

Don't believe everything you hear just because the person speaking has "MD" after his/her name. The problem is, this guy doesn't truly understand how this marvelous pump, and the rest of the plumbing, actually works. When humans don't understand something, they automatically resort to supernatural concepts such as UFO's, Aliens, and pseudo-science as their explanations.

So, what do you think the function of the heart is if not to pump blood around the body?
