Like how you focus on the phrasing. I think it's even more important than hitting the chords perfectly, it's when you understand the song's mood.

You can even fluff a chord change as long as the hand keeps strumming. Gotta keep that hand strumming no matter what.

There are loads of people who say it does not really matter if you do an all open string strum when changing chords. I heard one guy say to use the last and ( 1 and 2 and 3 an 4 and) in a 4 count, to use that empty space to change chords. It gives you time to set the hand up while the open strings ring. If done fast enough hardly anybody can tell the difference. And in quite a few cases it actually sounds nice. I stopped this half way through to say the above and on restart you say exactly that.

Loving it Rob. How many of your guitars did you get from Dawson's in the Pool... if any? There's a great signed Gary Moore Les paul in the window, sadly not for sale... I did ask!
