@@enniruth not true at ALL. for nearly fifteen years the Army has countlessly denied new recruits due to outrageous medical records/reasons, for example: broke your leg seven years ago? denied. Need to wear glasses? denied. Got a bad sense of taste? denied And to even process all of this it takes like 4 months. 4 long months where these potential soldiers would lose motivation to serve, it'll also make them more nervous on day one if they pass And finally it would make them pick other career options making them remove any request to join the army hence you will have less soldiers. Simple maths. Sorry that was long but I needed to get that off my chest.

The wee man does actually want to join the King’s Guard. He’s there quite a lot - if you watch other videos you’ll probably spot him around. I think most of them know him by name now. Even the armed police are brilliant with him.

@@jacquimaclennan3254Yes, that's his autistic obsession. My son was obsessed with it, too. Now he's training to do that for real, as a 17 year old. But they have to join regular British Army and unfortunately do live tours. It's not all playing dress up and standing there as a decoration for the tourists. They are real trained soldiers risking their lives for the King!

Yep my dad was ex Argyll and sutherland highlanders he took me to Stirling Castle when I was 6 years old and i saw the argylls in their number 1 uniform and I told him one day I want to be a soldier at 19 i joined the argylls best years of my life.

I had a similar experience. I'm a USAF vet as well and when I was around 11 or so(this was back in 1995) my Dad took me to a local Air Guard Base here in Virginia, while getting to look at an F-16 up close the squadron commander showed up, had them grab a B-1 stand so I could not only sit in the cockpit, but he also let me wear his flight helmet. It was at that moment I knew I would be joining the Air Force. I met my recruiter on 9-11, just before the planes hit the towers, and left for BMT in the summer of 2002. I left service nearly a decade ago as a SSgt.

This little boy had an impact on The Guards before. All of the Guards had marched by him, as stood at attention and saluted them. The Guards went into The Court Yard doors and the doors closed. Next thing you see, is One of The Guards appear after the door opener for him. The Guard marched to the boy, came to attention, give a salute to the boy, clicked his heels, and matched back through the doors, opened by another Guard.. That little boy stood at attention, saluting the Guard the entire time. 💜 .

That's the key I bet at one point his dad was a soldier & probably a guard for the boy to be so committed. It might have been before lil man was born but I'd bet that dad or grandpa were soldiers & guards at some point. Mom dad & grandparents are usually the first & most important influencers on a kid his age.

I have. Think it was Buckingham palace where they were doing changing of the guard. Off on the left side they have a propped open door for the guards to exit the court. I vividly remember seeing one of them take off his bearskin cap, whip out his phone and talk to his buddies it was hilarious

Love this kid....Frank ( I think) he always enjoy being around the guards.....actually this the first time I seen any of them chit chat with him but they respected him and he does look up to par......
