14:50 I vehemently disagree. The problem with this logic is that it can apply nearly indefinitely, which leads to a feedback loop of ignorance. The problem with being ignorant is that it taints your perception of reality, and your perception effectively _is_ your reality. Your perception has a cascading effect on everything pertaining to your life, and has massive ramifications. All that is to simply say: you're better off with those myriad of seemingly needless tidbits of information, because *collectively* they help make you a better person. Knowing just a little bit can help galvanize you into helping something really important, such as stem cell research, for example.
@hobojoe9337

You deserve a nobel peace prize for this. Seriously, we live in a society where ignorance is "cool" and people openly flaunt and justify it with the kind of flawed logic being said in the video. Anyone that has the balls to step up and metaphorically slap the dick out of people's mouth for defending that ignorance needs to be rewarded.

I'm always fascinated with these sort of mill decks. It completely breaks the normal expectation that more cards = winning and if you don't realize you are playing against a mill deck early enough in the game you will just lose. It's great only because it's outside the norm of what is expected. Every card game needs these kind of unusual deck designs.

Integrating involves taking the antiderivative of the function with respect to the denoted variable and applying the boundaries to it. So you get a similar result but they are different.

I remember hearing a story about that triangle numbers equation. The story was, that in late 18th century germany, a teacher needed to collect a wig (for some reason), but he was in the middle of teaching class. So, to keep the class occupied while he went out, he told the class to add up all the numbers, 1 + 2 +3 + 4 etc untill they reached 1000. So the class started on their work, and as the teacher started to leave the room one child burst up "I've done it sir!" (i'm going to assume he said the german equivalent, which i do not know). The teacher was flabergasted. Nobody knows what became of that mans wig. The student turned out to be Carl Friedrich Gauss, who later became a famous mathematician. I don't know if the story is true or not, just thought you might have found it amusing.

about the formula: take fatigue damage for drawing six cards: the damage equals 1 + 2 +3+4+5+6. since 1+6 =2+5=3+4, basically it's three(6 /2) pairs of 1+6. so you can transform the expression to (1+6)* 6 / 2, hence (n+1)*n /2. six card draw fatigue will do 21 points of damage.

pretty sure n(n+1) / 2 will only work if there are no cards left in the deck. If there are say, 3 cards left, and 8 cards are to be drawn, then the fatigue damage should be: n*(n*+1) / 2 where n* = number of cards to be drawn - number of cards left in deck n* = 8 - 3 = 5 5(6) / 2 = 15 damage

+Richard Vlášek Well, unless you're an explorer on the ocean. You could fear "The horizon" because since you think the earth is flat, you fear you would fall off at the edge, when in reality, you would just keep going until you hit something. You wouldn't know you 'fell off' until someone from the point you left off, wouldn't see you anymore, which you wouldn't know since if you're coming from a society that thinks the earth is flat, you probably don't have good education which means poor technology, so no cell phones most likely. Alternatively, you could just look back to where you started off from and see it's no longer there and deduce that the Earth is round since you obviously have not fallen anywhere.

+Monkeybone Why? What does it matter if someone thinks the world is flat or not? All he was saying was it doesn't affect day-to-day life, no that he believes that. How often will that fact ever come in handy to you in your life? It's a useless bit of information to the vast majority of people. Sure, some people need to know that: pilots, aerospace engineers, people in the space industry, people who have anything to do with satellites, even snipers, etc., but for most everyone else, not knowing that the Earth is round doesn't take away anything from their lives. That's all Trump was saying, and he's completely right. It's the same with knowing what a factorial is. Most people won't ever use a factorial, and even if you do, you don't have to know what it's called for it to work.

+Jatt2613 TL;DR there's a difference between ignorance (not knowing) versus making a claim that has no evidence, and ignoring anything that contradicts you. The argument doesn't even remotely make sense for a belief in the world being flat. If you believe the world is flat, you do so knowing that 95% of the world, where images of the Earth as a sphere exist everywhere, think it's round. There's not even a remote chance that this person doesn't know most people think the Earth is round. Earth as a sphere is everywhere, and pretty much impossible to miss if you're not like 6 years old. Shit, I could probably go to most 8 year olds and they'd at least answer "CIRCLE" (obviously not caring it's a sphere). Believing the world is flat requires you to deliberately dismiss information. And then the more important question is, why? If this person can't even believe that the world is fucking round, do you really believe they can be flexible to anything else? It's this cancerous mentality that allows assholes to prosper on fear mongering like being anti-vacc, or ruin their lives chasing empty conspiracy theories that just need a million dollars to "get started". To give you an actual parallel, ignorance is not knowing how to do a factorial. That's different from thinking that factorials are a lie that don't make any sense designed to keep students learning random garbage. Do you notice the difference?
@Jatt2613
8 жыл бұрын
That's not what Trump said. He was very specifically talking about simply knowing something, not whether someone's going out and arguing about it. But even given all the stuff you just said, if someone wants to believe the earth is flat in contradiction to all other information, how does that make their life any worse? Or how would admitting the earth is round make it any better? It's a useless fact unless you need it for some specialized job. You're missing the entire point of what he said. And jeez, dude, chill out. You're taking a random discussion on one throw-away comment in a KZitem video way too seriously if you're getting that worked up about it.

Trump :P first game was a win. Paladin har 30hp, 0 cards in deck, fatigue was at 0. Bram+Cold light+cold light. Draw 4*2 cards. Deal: 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8 Damage. Thats equal to 36.

If you conceded the first game you have missed the point of mill rogue entirely. That is literally one of the most clear cut win conditions that a mill rogue can get.

Trump you should have played those brann coldlights even if it was a guaranteed loss, just for the fireworks. We all love to see the pros make mistakes though. :)

To me the existence and effectiveness of this deck, more than any other, simply demonstrates Blizzard's incompetence at game design, at least for cards.

anyone using jeweled scarabs in their mill rogue? fan of knives, deathlord, brann, and coldlights themselves are all things you can get from it, so it can really help with those games where you end up with both your coldlights as your last two cards.

'My apologies for playing a deck, that is very different from my usual decks, extremely poorly the first time.' Poor Trump, you can tell chat is giving him a hard time
