I fully understand if you're very busy but I'd love it if you could start making some videos. They are really interesting and I learn something new for each video I watch.

Finally something new from you! What stand is that and what are you using to heat up the tip?

Haha it’s been a while hasn’t it 😅 It’s the Dremel Workstation 220. I bought that and a cheap soldering iron off Amazon a soldering iron that had a thread on the body that a protective cap screws onto. My intention was to use that thread as the basis to make an adapter to attach it to the Dremel Workstation. To my surprise, when I unboxed the Dremel press I noticed it had a plastic nut in place where you’d screw the dremel into to secure it. I offered the soldering iron up into the part for the dremel and by pure coincidence it shared the same thread size! So it ended up being completely plug and play! I also ordered a set of heat-set insert soldering tips in various sizes to fit the brass inserts properly. This is the soldering iron I ordered for reference. @@RTAFabrication Thanks for the quick reply sir. When I have you here - you’re actually perhaps my favorite account I follow on yt. I love the balanced approach between 3d/wood/car/design. The fact that you make everything look so good is interesting to me. Do a new video :)

No worries at all man! Thanks man I appreciate that a lot! I would love to upload more often as I feel like people get enjoyment and value from them. From my end I enjoy making them and answering all of the follow up questions, it’s all good fun! My main sticking point is balancing time taken coming up with the ideas, filming and doing the work against keeping money coming in on paying jobs. Filming paid jobs would be the ideal situation, but they’re the hardest to film as there’s always a time constraint. The vehicles I’ve managed to film I was able to keep them in for extended periods to allow time for filming, but typically custom jobs or anything always have that time constraint. The goal would be to build a community, provide content so people can learn or just enjoy watching something, have discussions with people and for me to learn from others. Out of interest, I’m always curious, do you find you get more from/ enjoy a video explaining the process or the style that’s purely visual likening more recent uploads? Thanks again man 👊🏻

This is the Dremel Workstation 220 which is a pillar drill attachment for a Dremel. I used a soldering iron which has a thread on the end that matches the thread on the Dremel workstation. The soldering iron is the Handskit soldering iron. Search B08LDJBLPY on Amazon and it’ll come up. (Might only work on UK Amazon) The heat set insert adapter was purchased on Amazon as well. Search BOB7KVZYWQ on Amazon and it’ll come up. (Might only work on UK Amazon) I didn’t have to modify anything to build this up either so a real quick solution.
