This is perfect 👍🏾. It’s hard to find a KZitem natural that is not strict anti-heat. I also aim to loosen my curl. Thx!

Yes, I definitely thought of becoming a straight natural because I always break my hair in it’s coily natural state

For a while, I was so tired of my natural hair. I became mad at it. I stopped enjoying doing it and wasn’t even happy with my results. I was frustrated with the amount of money and time I was putting into my hair just for it to still do what it wants. Long story short, I began to heat train my hair and I loved it. Until months after heat training I sat and looked at my hair after I washed it and I cried. I looked at old pictures of my natural hair and began to adore it all over again and appreciate it. I noticed that in even what I thought were my bad hair days, my hair was still beautiful. I was just too blind with frustration to see it. I now realized after my 4th and final big chop that my favorite and best version of my hair is exactly how it grows out of my head. After many trials and errors I’ve learned to listen to it and learned to love it in all its stages. Your hair is beautiful regardless and I’m glad you’re doing what works for you! God bless❤️

I think some straight naturals also do it for length retention. having Coily hair sometimes means it’s prone to breakage.

Thank you so much for sharing. I’ve been thinking of doing the same thing because my hair is SO kinky until I’ve become very frustrated with it. I don’t want a perm or relaxer but I think if I do some training on my hair will definitely loosen the curl pattern of my hair. It is where I have to spend too much time with it and it shouldn’t be like that.

Your hair looks beautiful ❤ I'm also doing the same but I struggle with using the right hair products to keep my hair from reverting or frizzing… what products do you recommend?

For the first 8 weeks, once per week. Then once each month flat iron and blow dry every 2 weeks.

Nope, I love my curls. I’m scared to even straighten my hair because I’m risking damaging my curls. Most people straightening their hair find they have damaged their hair and at first they try and hide it like we don’t have eyes

That's awesome. I don't suggest heat training if someone doesn't want to be a straight natural. If someone wants to wear their natural curls often,I don't suggest it all

It be annoying when people go on hair straightening videos to talk about having natural hair and diss straight hair like…You can have curly hair and have damage, and heat training actually has minimal heat damage. Every hair type can be damaged. You can get split ends simply by how you sleep.

@@arandomloser9160 right. My hair was natural, but when I straightened it realised that it wasn’t as healthy as I thought. Curly hair hides a lot of hair issues.

Her damage looks good though. As long as it not random straight pieces but the more she straightens the more it will loosen up.

And yall curly girls be having hella damage and don't even know how chewed up your ends are until you do your annual silk press.
