Fern, I agree. Heather would think our disgust with this ice palace is jealousy. Not so. I actually feel for her being this empty within to create a palace outside to be seen, accepted. I think the bdrm is 10.000 sq ft. There is nothing homey about this place. I remember when they lived in an about 3000 sqft house rented. It was cozy, homey. Terry loved it and asked why do we need anything so big and bigger? The house is icy inside, steel, stone, harsh corners. Hacked up energy. But that' s all about the struggle of a woman wanting to shine, to look more rich. I feel really sorry for the hubby Terry.

All I know is I had the intention of calling up Terry DuBrow to pay him a personal compliment one day about a year ago. One of my sources for getting his business phone number was YELP. Upon reviewing YELP, I was immediately totally surprised and completely startled by the incredibly low rating his medical practice had posted. So I stopped what I was doing and began reading, and reading, horror story after horror story, both big and small, one after the other after the other. It was not what I expected, I was in shock to say the least. It blew my mind so much and left such a bad taste in my mouth, I no longer had a desire to contact him with that compliment.

You actually sound like a disgruntled competitor looking to destroy your compitition, under the guise of being a possible patient. Who thinks to call someone they don't know out of the blue to give them a "compliment"? Do you really think so highly of yourself that you think your compliment would count in the scheme of things. Anyone can post on those sites and post anything they want, true or not, like you for example. Love Heather but never got into the super richy cold, dark, marble everything and as I look at both of these homes they are so of the moment they will suffer the same fate - being SUPER dated. Home 1 you could practically pinpoint the time that it was built - like a more upscale home on episodes of Cribs from MTV with the home theatre, reclining chairs with the projector TV, the dated looking wine room - the whole thing. And she turned around and did the exact same thing with the next house with the goofy champagne room/ dispenser. Didn't Crystale champagne go out of style years ago? Anyway I know I'm a nobody on the internet, but if I had a gazillion dollars I would live in a house with a lot of perks but it would just not be that style at all. It would have light bright colors, warm fabrics, and look a lot more approachable - more vintage and not have sooo much built in to the architecture and built ins so that everyone would be able to say oh that house must've been built in the year X when everyone just had to have whatever superfluous trendy features just like avocado green shag carpet says 1975 those features even if expensive say the same thing and not in a cool way. To each their own but it seems surprising that she seems warm and down to earth but she's into this marble/ cold library overly trendy looking style/ vibe. I love Bethenney's house / homes and the style she's decorated in. To me that feels like a real home where she actually made choices based on things she's really interested in in her every day life and you could sit on the furniture, kick your shoes off and have a cup of tea and talk with someone yet it still has a luxurious look and feel - just not so overly cold and fancified (and I know she's going to call me and invite me over right now!!) Lol. :)
