(Do people even read these?)
My third (3rd) custom remix, finished after whatever amount of hours. Actually, it was made in like 2 and a half afternoons. If I weren't so busy with school, I'd probably have done at least 5 more levels :v
Some extra stuff that I’d like to add:
- The beginning dialog was a reference to the audio sample used in the original version of this song
- The screaming is probably the main reason I used Air Rally
- I was also considering using The Real Will Wood Live version for this level, but I remembered that live songs are a massive pain to get the BPM right
- I put a lot of BPM tweaks on this song anyway
- I was originally gonna have some Nightly Build minigames be used here (Power Calligraphy, LumBEARjack, Sumo Brothers), I decided against that because I wanted this remix to be entirely playable on the Lush Release
- I'm not even sure if the translations at 1:23 are accurate
- not related to the remix itself, but I like to think that the second half of the title is called Compound Fracture as a reference to the Skeleton Appreciation Day leitmotif at the last part
- I was randomly trying out filters for the last part on Launch Party and thought the black and white filter looked pretty cool
Something tells me you prefer sitting there looking through those old issues of People
