Footage shows the severe flooding in the city of Suzu in Ishikawa, Japan, on Saturday, leaving one dead and several missing in the region.
It came as Japanese authorities evacuated tens of thousands of residents from the earthquake-hit region as rain triggered floods and mudslides.
The Japan Meteorological Agency issued its highest-level 'life-threatening' alert for the region. More than 120 millimeters (4.7 inches) of rain was recorded in Wajima on Saturday morning.
They said the rain was expected to continue until Sunday.
