Bless you Captain Steven -- for enduring the weather for all of us!! This was a really neat capture of the conditions the planes have to endure as well. I'm sure that had a lot to do with some of the wall of shamers (heavy, moist air)!! >> saw condo on the wings on quite a few as I'm sure that is even more likely in this kind of weather. Loved seeing all the heavies!! Some cool liveries that were parked as well. . .Thanks for another great one! Stay well, and stay safe, Cap!! See you on the next one -- in a few minutes (LOL). . . 💕✈💕✈💕✈

How long does the ramp crew have to be off the ramp when a lightning alert?
@jamesf791

I work on the ramp for a legacy carrier. Usually about 15 minutes after the last lightening is seen or about 6 miles away from the airport.

Airbus A320 NEOs, A321NEOs, have bigger diameter engine inlets and are quieter than the classic A320s and A321s. I believe that the Boeing MAXs have the top of their engine cowlings above the leading edge of the wing with bigger inlets than the older 737-900s, -800s. A350s have very unique curved aft flight deck windows, short radomes, and curved wingtips.

Boring
@davidhoffman1278
2 жыл бұрын
That's what plane spotters desire. Boring takeoffs and landings. We have no desire to see airliners slide off the runway, turn too soon on a taxiway and end up stuck in the mud, or go into the overrun. These airliners are already having to do not fun noise abatement turns very soon after the undercarriage is retracted. That's enough drama.
