This isn't Danny's channel. This is someone clipping Danny's videos for their own reasons. May 'clips' channels are not run by the people whose clips are used. All that aside, I wonder what it's going to take before people stop judging things based on clips. Clips lack context & nuance. This was taken from a 2 hour video on Danny's channel. Where in that video is this clip? The clipper doesn't say. So in fact, we don't know what came before and after this brief clip. Short form content is ruining people's ability to think correctly.

He said he didn't speak modern Greek. The LXX is in a version spoken from around the time of Alexander the Great to around the early middle ages. It is very different from modern Greek. @mikecassavant-fn8lv hey Mike, ancient (classical) Greek, modern Greek, and koine are very different. Reading the LXX and reading Homer are like you reading something from the 14th or 15th century in Middle English/early modern while being fluent in current modern English. There is an even larger difference between koine and modern Greek. Some pronunciations totally change like gamma went from a g like go to a y like yes, vocabulary shifts as loan words come in. There are a ton of words in modern Greek that are from Italian, French, and Turkish that couldn't even have been imagined to a koine, classical, or even byzantine. Even grammar has changed.

@@bobbycalifornia7077 Hebrew to my understanding was used for liturgy and always has been with Jews. It was used regularly in the new testament as well, at least in the gospel dialogues, and can be evidenced as being known through some of Paul's arguments in his letters, not just claims that he spoke it. Also to my knowledge, scholars stay on top of this stuff and always have. @@bobbycalifornia7077 there was a change in grammar and vocabulary towards mishnaic Hebrew after bar kochba revolt. Those who wrote the Mishnah had a very good grip on Hebrew. Most of the talmudic commentators had a very good understanding although you do see some instances of learning loss that's now been recovered with scholarship today. There has been loss of grammar, but from what I've seen only very minor. That's referencing what a reader sees and understands. The daily spoken language has changed for sure. There has been vocabulary loss of some words, but I'm not so sure that doesn't predate the Roman period. I started learning biblical Hebrew 7 years ago and have referenced every major rabbinic writing on the Torah at one point on another, the Mishnah and Talmud, both Babylonian and Jerusalem, along through the medieval ages and into many modern ones, and several Midrashic sources. Now, Maimonides may have contributed to a revival of sorts, I cannot say, but from what I've witnessed, I don't see anything major. I see quite the contrary. Especially within the New Testament, there is plenty of evidence of a full working understandings and knowledge of Hebrew masked through even the Greek translations.

Funny...never mentions the "error"...really doesn't matter anyways, because the "physical" written words of the Bible passed on down by those that God, and Jesus recited and projected in a limited translation by a human being, meaning that the "Spirit" of God is perfect, but that the human ability presented in black and white is only an illustration to what is to be "perfect". So what of any other translations by scholars that are only minuscule in creating some kind of less than major confusion in the end. The Bible was only written for sinners and for the lost, to come to God, no one else...not for scholars, not for theologists and whatnot. Point blank, no one dies with a better advanced academic credit of knowledge on their shoulders for a supreme spot in Heaven.

No, Long before Yeshua, (Jesus) ever arrived on Earth. The original haters (elohim = spirits created by God (the Unique Elohim), The Creator of the others.), those Original haters were of a jealous and rebellious mind to force the plan of God to change focus back to them (the lesser elohim) as the favored of all creation, and to eliminate or subjugate the human creation to the service of the Lesser elohim. Eventually some of the lesser ones sought to educate the humans into oblivion, doing things they were not meant to know how to do. Then they tried inhabiting them through the Spiritual co- habitation with humans as spoken of in Gen 6. God The Unique Elohim charged the lesser with consequences for leaving their God -given state of spirit existence and interfering with human kind, to produce half-breeds of the humans. The result was Giants in the land and utter destructive behavior of the worst kind. Much of this is spoken of in Gen 6, the books of Enoch, quoted by Yeshua, and disciples. Also Ps 82, God reads the elohim the consequences of not following their God given purpose, to bring about conditions of Justice and Mercy to the Nations they were assigned to. So why is Israel the focus of hatred? Because they became the chosen ones to be the people Unique to the World. The world had been influenced by the Demon half-breeds, and even though the Flood of Noah was to end that interference, it did not eliminate the Influence that Noah and his family brought onto the Ark. It is evident today how and where the influence peddlers have a negative influence in the world and who they pick on to try to mess up God's plan forever. Its not going to work.
