Great commentary! Before Ronda's loss to Holly Holm, she allowed her ego to blow out of proportion. The UFC, the commentators, the media, and the fans helped fan the ego flame. Holly Holm was a God send, proving the Bible's proverb to be true, "Pride comes before a fall." Along with her pride came arrogance. And her misguided and unwarranted arrogance and anger couldn't have been more off target when she set her sights on such a sweet person as Holly Holm, especially at the weigh ins. I say Ronda surely deserved to lose to Holly and in the manner that she did lose (a vicious and nasty head kick to knock her out cold to the canvas). As well as Amanda Nunes making Ronda look like a teenage boxer with no experience. Obviously, Ronda hasn't learned her lesson on humility. She still had her "I'm invincible" attitude going into the fight. To me, that is purely delusional. The delusions came earlier on when she stated she WILL retire undefeated. Who in their right mind says that? She honestly believed that no one throughout eternity could beat her. Her pathetic actions at the Holm weigh ins, and spoiled brat attitude, proves she's nothing but someone who has to have things go her way or else. And role model? Give me a break!

Rousey's arrogance, her attitude, her disrespect of fellow fighters is what people disliked and STILL dislike about Rousey. It's over now. 48 seconds to the annihilation of what Rogan thought was some mythical creature. Rousey's skill set was and is clearly limited. She needs to get OUT, and stay under the radar for the rest of her miserable life. She had the opportunity following the loss to Holm to grow up. She CHOSE not to take it. The last week before the fight demanding she be left alone, and costing the promotion dearly in pay per view bucks, her contempt for any and everybody. Don't ask me to feel sorry for her. She is a spoiled BRAT, and has earned nothing but contempt. I gotta say Nunes didn't earn any points from me either following her victory. I hoped better for Nunes, and maybe if she gets a load of herself on camera she'll rein it in. One hopes.

Rogan said he believed Ronda can beat Mayweather in a street fight. If Ronda has trouble closing in on a boxer of Nunes/Holmes calibre , just think what would happen vs someone with faster, more accurate, much more powerful punches, will do. Mayweather would KO her with the first left jab that he fires.

You know me boy Super agree. Sure there were the haters but EVERY one in the spotlight has haters. I honestly think she bought into her own hype so much so that being even slightly critical of her seemed like a huge attack. She forgot that the media helped her a ton in her career. I haven't seen any professional in the MMA media take a shit on her. They did their jobs and talked about a fighter losing and asked questions that they ask everybody who loses a fight. Who is she to be absolved from this common occurrence? And it doesn't look like the UFC will learn anytime soon. They put together a great hype package that's missing one thing....her fucking opponent, the goddamn champ. That is bullshit in my opinion.

This is getting to be an old argument. The coach can only teach so much. The fighter has to go out there and fight according to what's happening in the moment. Ronda wasn't able to do much of anything because she was incapable of doing much of anything accept getting battered in the face. The coach can't stand out there with you, as a fighter you should know how to move your head, bob and weave and not back straight up. These are basics of fighting defense, these are things every fighter should know before ever entering a ring or octagon. Ronda did none of these things and you're still asserting that it's a coaching thing? Ronda got beat because she was too busy being the baddest fighter on the planet and not working on improving her craft and growing as a fighter. Simple.

I wish Gina Carano continued her path on martial arts to becoming a master. This new ownership of the UFC just doesn't feel right from the jump. It's turning away from art and towards numbers. What a great video. In light of what happened last-night, you have to be worried how Rousey will take this. With two of her movie projects being cancelled before this fight. Her options seem to be drying up, WWE had said they want her but with what happened I don't know if she will have the same appeal to them. Rhonda needs to take a step back from her inner circle, which seems to have done nothing to help her over the past year and work on Rhonda the person, then she can decide to be Rhonda the movie star or Rhonda the fighter. With that said I'll be honest I've never been a fan of Rousey (bully, disrespectful, etc.) But the media set her up for this fall and added fuel to the dislike of Rhonda, I don't like anyone rammed down my throat. Rogan stands at the forefront in my mind, with some of the hype he pushed her way. Rogan is a smart guy, but he seems unable to look back and see how off the rails he was for Rhonda. He didn't do her any favors with his fanboy worship of her and who knew her ego was so fragile. We may like to see people or celebrities we don't like lose, but no one wants to see them humiliated like Rhonda was last-night. Rhonda if your going to fight ever again, get yourself a new coach and gym 1000's of miles away from that clown that was in your corner last-night!
