The noise from the truck had me thinking an accident happened behind you or something. Tried to figure out the sign...thought it said Proverbs chapter 11 verse 25 but that's "The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself." I laughed. Found it...chapter 16 verse 25 "There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."

It's been some time since I've been up there. There use to be a lot of crosses like.. everywhere and just junky stuff all over the place. The man who put all of the stuff up died back in 2004. I forgot why he did what he did, but there is a story behind it. Glad you found the place :3

it always baffles me how some followers of Jesus get so mean-spirited when Jesus as a figure spent his life among people society at the time hated and told the oppressors to stop judging and let God decide on the matter of who is and is not "sinful", I can't imagine he'd be too pleased with his followers saying everyone will go to Hell if they don't fit a certain image.. just my views anyway.

that's my experience too, my father was Christian and very much practiced the "practical" side, helping others - maybe I just don't "get" Fire and Brimestone teaching due to the fact most of my experiences have been with the more charitable side.. places like this are still interesting, just a whole different view from what I've seen.

considering cartoons were not even a concept in the Biblical era I doubt Jesus said any of that so please stop with the obvious trolling, the rules about cartoons and whatnot being "demonic" are clearly modern additions and even then only held by a tiny minority, if any.

William Carlton Rice passed away on Jan. 18, 2004, at home, surrounded by his family and his Cross Garden. W.C. had been hospitalized for a few weeks fighting pneumonia. He was buried at Prattville Memory Gardens. According to Montgomery Advisor writer Blu Gilliand, widow Marzell Rice said the family plans to maintain the Cross Garden. "We're going to keep it going," said Marzell. "We promised him that." According to Blu, the family may even add on to the Garden in the future, I'm guessing the family has been keeping it going.......
