Same on Facebook! The video was so damn good I looked up his channel and checked out his other videos too, and immediately subscribed. His battlefield 1 videos are just as amazing, and there's is such a clear distinction between his works from 2 years ago, to just 5 months ago. Love the passion behind it and can't wait to see what's to come!

Wow… Ngl now I kinda want a mod that makes the game look like this constantly. Like that bodycam game but for WW2

team17 could have easily used your film as a trailer for the new updates simply amazing, the game itself has a lot of scenic moments

The way the shots are angled. The way it jumps between clips from the quiet before the battle, to during the heat of combat, to even showing wreckages and the aftermath of the battles... This legit looks like real WWII combat footage of reporters. The Nornandy landing looked all too realistic. It gave me chills. I love that you showed the ramps dropping "into the meat grinder". In the Foy segment, the way the filter looks like the snow is literally blinding the camera was very well done as well. You could really get a sense that that was snow all around, and that the camera was struggling even by seeing the dark silhouettes of the tanks against that stark white. Very well done. Absolutely amazing and terrifying work you have made. Keep up the good work! Have you thought about doing reels of War Thunder?

Thank you, I’m glad you liked it and picked up on those details! I hadn’t considered War Thunder, never played it before so not sure how well it could be realistically edited

This is genuine talent. Its not just a filter, the shots are identical to newsreel footage from the time.

Great work. The part that is the most obvious is the tank firing his main gun. No recoil at all. But that's on the game, not you.

How did you do the ww2 style effect? Looks different from ww1 effect u did before
@makofilms1
Жыл бұрын
It’s mostly the same, the only differences are slightly less film grain, less missing frames, and more emphasised camera movements. For WW2 I made it look like a handheld camera was used, rather than a stationary camera on a tripod, so there’s more camera sway and freedom of movements. Also Hell Let Loose just looks quite different from Battlefield 1, so the effects will appear differently as a result! There is no spectator mode in HLL too, so there is no depth of field effect, a higher field of view, and I have to crop out some first-person assets.

@@derpythespy that’s a great idea! I’m thinking of doing some War Thunder too, just trying to make sense of the spectator cam. I think aircraft footage could look really good!
