Jetpack from HD1 was the best, it can get you out of sticky situations

Ya really did work there. I kinda felt the jetpack was anemic but I maybe I just wasn't using it efficiently. Also just equip the scorcher & you're an Imperial Dark Trooper from the original Battlefront games. Though the reason you're using the marksman is obvious in this context.

Would like to know more about your aiming and those quicker shots. Nice gameplay.

There's a trick that after you max charge you can half charge the arc thrower. Just need to practice and the aiming is basically just aim a bit high since the arc tends to go down and you will hit less terrain.

The jetpack needs a whole rework for it to be viable. I don't know what they were thinking with such a pathetic boost and a long charge time. You should be able to hover for 10 to 15 seconds maybe even 20 with a very fast recharge. You should be mostly in the air through the game. It wouldn't be overpowered because you're losing a backpack slot You can't use because you're losing a a whole backpack slot.

I love the jumppack. I am an avid user of the jumppack and I use it 80% of the time which adds up to about 50 hours of usage. At first it was for the memes but after the first several times of usage, I found the cd to be just right and for it to have many specifc use cases which make several missions a breeze. I'll list some uses here for anyone interested in using jumppacks legitimately. (Mainly for bots cuz I barely do bugs) (Take note this is doable on level 9. I only primarily do helldive missions) - Getting to high ground 200m away from a sub objective to snipe small units that summon bot drops. This makes it easier to take sites since devastators cant really summon bot drops. - jumping up high ground to mess up enemy pathing when getting chased - jumping down steep slopes that you normally run down on. This saves a lot of time and covers way more distance. I have used this to get away from chases really easily. Works on heavy armor as well. - jumping across water gaps that would otherwise get you drowned. - sneaking into jammer sites. You can avoid most engagements from the front. And its usually easier to take over the jammer from the console since the structure is built to have only one path going up. This makes it easy to hold since most enemies are ranged and ai pathing will make them stay in low ground. I love the jumppack in its current state and I wish for people to start seeing it the same way I do so that the devs might not feel inclined to change the core mechanics of the jumppack. Additional note: It might just be me, but after the taking over/ few hours before mechs released, jump packs feel like they have increased lateral movement. I find myself being able to jump further distances, clearing larger gaps.

ShieldPack user here. (Combo’d with the Arc Thrower) The JumpPack feels weak indeed but it is in the same feel as the first Helldivers. It just lets you jump and not fly. @sheep3948 you are a mad lad for bringing the JumpPack on bots.
