Hi Mason, Good to hear that you're still making progress towards your bachelor's degree. I spent a lot of time in 2022 looking for a new place to live in California. Unfortunately, I have not succeeded yet, but I won't give up. I have the exact same table vise! I bought it about 15 years ago and I literally use it several times a day. Now that it's 2023, I've started contacting tiny home builders. I'm wanting to build a fully accessible tiny home on wheels that I have designed and intend to live in. Thanks for sharing your update.

I can use it to open small bottles. Lots of things.

Awesome that you're almost finished with your bachelor degree in school! And yes, I have kept one of the items associated with my accident. I had a motorcycle accident 22 years ago with a T6 level injury. I was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, which looked brand new before the wreck. After the accident it looked like it had been dropped out of an airplane. It had breaks in the full-face section and the built-in visor was missing. It was also completely covered with gouges and marks. My head and helmet took out the rear windshield of the car that I hit. So I kept it as a keepsake of the thing that helped save my life. Hope everything is well with you, Mason! God bless you and your family!!!

When the Guy from Numotion was trying to tighten my Head Support I wondered why it only has one bracket in the middle to hold it instead of one on each end to make it more stable and he laughed and went that would make a lot more sense to do it that way but I think that they just want you to have to get something new after awhile so they make it like this.
@masonx54

@@masonx54 Yes and I need my head support stable because now it is loose and what is happening is my switch to control my recline back function is attached to it and it makes it difficult to make contact with my switch because it moves away from you. He tried to tighten the bracket but he could not do it and then the screws were stripped so he had to stop trying because there was no way to do it after that happened.

I saw Randy Houser quite a while ago, I think it was around the time his "running out of moonlight" song came out. My fav exercise equipment is a weighted hoop. Not the same as a weighted hula hoop - mine is a hollow hoop that you put a weighted ball thing attached to a rope into the track of the hoop and you use gravity to swing it around you. I suck at descriptions lol! 😆🤦🏼♀️ I've had a few falls because of sciatica catching me off guard so I've been researching canes and whatnot. I live very remote though so I don't have a place to physically try anything out before purchasing which obviously doesn't benefit.

I logged 436 volunteer hours at the senior activity center near my house for 2022. I have also been seeing doctors to figure out why my hematocrit number is higher than normal. So far, the Pulmonary function test outside of the box, the echocardiogram, and the chest X-ray have all come back normal despite the fact that the chest X-ray showed that I have low oxygen in my blood. The pulmonologist still wants me to have another Pulmonary function test and a blood gas test, which will both be done when I see the pulmonologist in person in a few weeks on January 19th

Things like that happens to my Powerchair too and I have Arm Troughs but they started to wear out so now they have foam pads on top of them. And I am having a Tech from Numotion coming here again because they Ordered me a whole new Head Support now. The Bracket on this one is broken and they Ordered a new one but they Ordered the wrong one.So the guy was here for four hours trying to fix this one but then he stripped the screws so he decided that I need a whole new one. It came in so now they will come back and put it on. Sometimes there is just no way to fix something and he really tried hard and even called other Techs but they told him to just order a new one. That thermostat and computer you have now is really nice. I have an IPad Pro that can be mounted on a movable bracket to hold it for me on my Powerchair or bed and that way it can be positioned in front of you to use it or swing away when you need to be transferred. Great new Video. Thanks Mason.

@@masonx54 It is really nice but I got it because I worked with an Assistive technology person who ordered it and the bracket for me because they thought that would work best for me. You really need to work with people like that because they know what is available that will work. I really did not know until I got it what it would be like and they have to install the part this bracket attaches to on your Powerchair first.
@masonx54
Жыл бұрын
@@pagzplay So the bracket can go on the wheelchair or bed?
@pagzplay
Жыл бұрын
@@masonx54 Yes it can and they have a connection for it to attach to that is on the side of my powerchair and the bracket comes off to be moved to one so it is over your bed.That way you can use it in both places. It works really good because it can be positioned where you need it to be to use it and the part that holds my IPad Pro is adjustable so it can hold a phone too or any kind of Assistive technology equipment. Like I said I worked with someone who helps people with getting the right Equipment and this is what they thought would work best.
