Loved watching this. Helsinki always looks beautiful at this time of the year and it's good to be able to watch when you can't be there to hear that crunching sound of walking through the snow! Merry Christmas from London! 🎄🌟

Great 👍 job. As we see all these lights, does it mean that that Finland succeeded in getting different sources of gas other than the Russians???

Luckily gas is not commonly used in Finland, so RUS gas is no problem. Finland did import (some) electricity from RUS, that has been replaced by other sources, mainly from Sweden. And, a new nuclear plant is starting production in early 2023.

Finland does use other sources as well to generate electricity.

gas is not widely used in finland, not at least in the helsinki region. sure the energy companies used the russia situation as an excuse to hike the electricity prices, but the biggest hike was during the fall season, by december the spot pricing had come down a lot, by the time winter was over electricity spot prices dropped down to levels similar to what they were before russia's attack on ukraine. while the uniper mess was another great fumble caused by the kokoomus party in their infinite financial wisdom, we survived that. they made the necessary changes to energy indepence so now at the time of typing this I'm paying 0.16cnt/kWh for electricity. when it was really bad, peak pricing reached 70cnt/kWh while the average quiet time price was hovering from 20 to 30 cents. all in all we survived the energy "crisis" but the real crisis is with the banks who hiked the interest rates up because of the """"instability""""" while they are making record profits. russians like to fuck themselves over, as history has proven. we learned that with russia. shame we didn't learn it with jews, who are now price hiking everything. wonder where I've heard that happen before?

It's nice to see the Finns still just go about their business and don't act over friendly towards people around them with fake helou's and how are you's, if only more people would just take care of their own business there would be lot less drama!

I don't see too many obese people out in the streets, in Finland walking is a second nature that's why Finland has one of the longest life expectancies and one of the lowest healthcare cost per capital in the World!😉
