Hendrix fans, you gotta see this. I was there last August/16. The oval mirror on the mantel is original. Look in it touch it, Hendrix has touched it and reflected in it.......................amazing place, amazing vibes.

Yes, I concur. There's a visceral connection with our shared heritage when the same glass that looked back at the great man also looks back at us.

I just went this past July. For me it was a pilgrimage. My wife and kids patiently walking with me as I took my sweet time in every room. The volunteers are amazing and knowledgeable. I'll come back again for sure! To the gentleman who was giving the tour of the actual room, thank you for what you did for me. It was special and meaningful for me as a guitar player...

Hendrix felt Handel's Musical Vibes!!! Anyone else saying that would be 'yeah, whatever' but with Hendrix, he probably did feel those vibes! Too bad he didn't have a copy of the Concerto Grossos to listen to. I wonder if he ever heard them. They are amazing and I am sure he would have loved them.

So I was visiting this friend of mine that I used to get concert tickets from. As I walked in he was holding a suit coat and he said try this on. I put the jacket on and it fit good, a little tight in the shoulders. I said ok what's up with this? He said that is one of Jimi Hendrix's jackets. He had a whole room full of Jimi's memorabilia he had just purchased from Jimi's dad. I regret to this day of not purchasing any items he had. That is the closest I have got to Jimi other than a dream I had where I am sure it was him in the dream.
