Henry W. Coe State Park is the largest state park in northern California, covering over 87,000 acres of rugged wilderness in the Diablo Range. Pacheco Pass spans over the south portion of the park, connecting the Santa Clara Valley to the San Joaquin Valley. It was used as a pathway by Spanish missionaries, settlers, and traders. Today, it plays a critical role in the region’s transportation network, facilitating the movement of goods and people across Central California
