I'm a lefty and got the 308 version. It's been fantastic right out of the box. Being a lefty, lever guns always fit well.

Proving very popular as a pig rifle here in Australia. The Henry Long Ranger and the Browning BLR are big sellers because it gives us the ability to knock pigs at further distances than was previously possible with the 30/30. (We have a lot of wide open spaces here). I've just bought the Henry LR chambered in .308 Sadly, semi autos are unattainable to 95% of Aussies.

Ps, just checking the price on the Henry. Reatails for 1100 dollars in the US, equals 850 pounds. However the 1330 pound price tag Viking arms are have on it, almost a 500 pound difference. Exorbitant.

Absolutely lovely bit of kit. Think ive mentioned before i have a Browning BLR 81 lever action in .243. I love it. Accurate light and smooth. You have to be careful but i load 1 in the chamber 4 in the Magazine and uncock the hammer fully or it has a half cock. There is a safety bar to prevent accidental discharge if you bang the hammer. Love the vids bud keep up the good work

I grew up watching Westerns and yet I don't think really I would like a PC lever rifle. I wish we had a decent choice for PC bolt actions in the UK. You see those Ruger M77's from time to time. Most often when you don't have the cash or the slot, and when you can't find the magazines. (Plus with those I never sure if they take the Special ammunition natures.) What I would like to see brought into the UK from Henry is there single shot rifles. One in .357magnum would do me as a plinking rifle for our club's 50m range. Easy to clean, no finnicky ejectors, etc.

clangerbasher i have a M77/357 and it’s lovely. As you said, I sit on my clubs 50m range where we can only shoot PC and enjoy something with more kick than a 22lr but not cost of full bore or having to travel to a range that allows rifle calibers. There are shops which will order one in for you, a wait but if you get the shot they are worth the wait. Also the only issue is the trigger is horrible so you do need to get that changed. Brownells U.K. have a few options that fit well for example an adjustable trigger

@@krishanaspect9038 Hello! Yes that is my situation. Trolling out to our clubs share 200m rifle range would be problematic, but our 50m PC range is accessible. I shoot on the clubs 20m range mostly which is closer to home. Going through all the trouble of getting an FAC I would like at least one centrefire something. Funnily enough when I decided to finally get my FAC I thought a lever action and Ruger 10/22 was all I would want. I found to my horror I didn't like either from a shooting point of view. If this was the States then yes I would just own them, but here we have to be more selective don't we? And something else I discover was though the M77 action is a bit stiff I like the ones I have handled as they are nice solid as Ruger do build things well. Perhaps the M77 PC rilfes are easier to get than I thought then? TBH I haven't asked the local gunshops about getting one as I thought the examples here in the UK were one offs. Have you tried .38spl in your rifle? I am not really bothered if it has to eat .357 as I could bear the cost and the recoil. Being able to shoot .38spl would just give more options. Thanks for replying. :)

clangerbasher hi, I shoot 38 most of the time in it. Cheaper, less bang and easier to reload. Since our 50 is next to club house, makes people less annoyed as less bang compared to 357 haha. Def works fine for both Calibres

@@krishanaspect9038 Hello again. Just for clarity I take you are using bog standard round nose? Jacketed or lead? You would think Ruger would be clearer on their website about this issue. I wonder how many sales they have lost because potential purchasers have thought that rifle only eats .357?

clangerbasher hi, I currently use 158gr SWC and sometimes wad cutters for both my 38 and 357s I put through it. Also use factory magtechs. All lead, but I see no issues using any type of 38/357s in the M77/357 I even made some colourful coated bullets recently which also shot fine imgur.com/gallery/3S2h7Pp I only put 357s in it now and again and mostly shoot my 38 reloads or the magtechs. Also made some silver 357s that worked fine: imgur.com/a/u3vAhyW All in all it shoots any 38 or 357s you can get your hands on as far as I have seen. Def ask some RFDs if you want one as mine said they can be ordered in if you put deposit and wait about 3 months- not long to wait really
