HENRY THE PRINCE (VENEZUELA) - CLOWN
Per speciale concessione del "Circo Tihany".
Special Guest, dal 16 al 20 ottobre 2014.
PREMIO SPECIALE "GIULIO MONTICO"

"GIULIO MONTICO" SPECIAL PRIZE
The most observant viewers of our colourful poster for this year's Festival, which was painted by talente artist Elena Zaika, will have realized that this year's special non-competing guest star has been prince of clowns, "Henry the Prince".
Henry Ayala Jr., "the Prince of Clowns", from Venezuela, is a fifth-generation performer from a well-known Circus family. Starting his career at a very young age, Henry the Prince learnt a number of disciplines as he grew up, but soon concentrated his efforts towards becoming a clown, taking inspiration from the greats of the past such as Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton and Laurel & Hardy. Henry the Prince hasn't been to Europe for five years, having had enormous success working in countries across South America. It is from a famous South-American Circus, the world-renowned Circo Tihany, that he comes to perform at Latina, following a motto that he adopted from the great Charlie Chaplin: "A day without laughter is a day wasted...".
