I love her place, it's so cute. I'm not sure why some are saying it's disorganized, but I guess that's just me because most of my things are out in the open too. I spose many would say the same about mine. Being ADD and being able to see almost everything at a glance I don't forget what I have as I'm no minimalist either. I have a no build, build as they are called. I took out the kitchen and middle twin beds. I put in metal shelves, not as pretty as wood, but wanted an open look for maximum airflow. Plus I have been able to change things around as my needs changed. Most of my windows are full of planter boxes with vegetables. I converted the front couch into a bed and bought another twin bed that butts up to my bed for my dogs. I have two small girls, a Golden retriever, Greyhound and an Anatolian Pyrenees. Living off-grid out in the middle of nowhere in mountain lion, bear and coyote country I wanted an LGD for protection for me and my chickens. My Anatolian Pyrenees mom just recently saved one of her owners from a mountain lion, so safety is a priority out here for me

THANK YOU!!!! I am SO SICK of seeing all these "perfectly" built vans & buses. THIS is what I call a conversion van/bus. You've surrounded yourself with the things that are truly important to you & have some sentimental appeal. The fact that you did this all yourself is just wonderful. And your little Dragon....could he/she BE any CUTER? I hope you have, or are going to create a youtube channel of your own. I would definitely watch. Thank you for sharing & GOD bless you.

I am 71 and have designed jewelry , sew , and painted since I was 6. Before my husband passed 4 years ago we would haul our van on the back of our class C. We took our 3 cats with us when we traveled. Its amazing what you have done and the dog looks so happy. My husband named our camper Lola. Sadly I had 2 strokes so the travel became difficult. We did craft shows all over and my beading and painting are still things I can do just not like you. But we need to Seymore of you art. What we saw was wonderful. Enjoy that lifestyle. Its so much fun.

I’m wanting to venture out but don’t really want to be alone until I get confident since I bought a 1987 ford Econoline Telstar that needs some repairs done. I just want to be confident it’s road ready. I’m in Texas so I can easily spend a fortune on gas just driving around the state!!! 😂.

It's not unusual, most Bus conversions are named, it's just a thing the Bus Life people do, Name their Rigs. So do the Full time Camper Van folks, and the Tiny Homes people too now I think about it. I suppose it's similar in that all Sailboats, Power boats and Ships are named also. Makes sense as all things are named that are a mobile home, a home away from home, or a place of personal solitude , such as Churches, Commynity Centers, Camps, Homesteads, all have been named. Anyway, if you do ever decide to use tools, even a nailer, or just to have for emergency fixes etc. I recommend getting yourself a starter package of Ryobi tools from Home Depot. I literally adore my Ryobi tools! Love them, I am so grateful this product exists. (Yes, there's other brands of battery tools, but I went off grid with Ryobi after flooding, and they made life Doable again for me. ) Bought 6 years ago , and they're still kicking ass. The batteries last ages per charge, I regularly use the reciprocating saw to cut up trees during landscaping because I'm to nervous to use a chainsaw. Anyway, the tool batteries have actually become part of my backup lighting system when my solar panels are not getting any sun from too heavy cloud for too many days. 9 months the year, I get more than enough sun days here but December and January are usually fairly grim. Ryobi has a couple fantastic table lamps options, the lamps also have a USB port, so you can charge your phone or, to make the battery last longer, I plug a low watt USB lamp into the port and use that, the Ryobi lamp is fairly high wa to for led, it last like five hours on high, which is fine, but even the reciprocating saw gets more time from that same battery. Oh, and the Fan! Oooh, the fan is Amazing 👏 👏 👏 👏 I just got the fan this year to help blow the heat from the woodstove around the room and it's awesome. Literally lasts for a solid day and a half per charge on low, which is still high, actual Hi speed is intense and last like 4 hours. This summer on the most obscene heat ever, I put the fan over a bucket of ice and not only cooled my old dog down, but air conditioned the main floor of the house. Well, if you're still reading this, Happy New Year, and good luck out there. Cheers 🙂
