I spend most of my working time backstage but when I heard these two start to play, I had to take 10 minutes to go out the front and sit on the grass and watch them perform. I miss them so much. Too many memories and some of the best days of my life spent dancing like an idiot and singing to their songs. Songs about grief kept me afloat when I needed it last year. Harvey was a tongue and cheek song that to me was about mental health which I also latched onto. I had a panic attack and couldnt remember my own mum’s name but I got my friend to put on her’s and I could keep up with the words and hold on to something familiar. I only drove to their music because it calmed me down. I got the album early and it kept me occupied while my grandmother was passing away. They released the album on the day of her funeral and I saw them on that day in leeds. It cheered me up, reminded me that happy things still exist. A month later I supported them in my local town. They were so supportive. I’ll never forget them smiling and clapping at me. I was so proud and inspired. Just the nicest guys in the whole galaxy. All my friends showed up and we had the best time dancing and laughing. Whenever they came to town it was a party that celebrated life and laughter. I’m heartbroken that wont happen again. I still don’t believe it. Only the other month was I talking to audun about writing and demoing and travelling. It’s unreal. But I’ll always have a favourite band in Her’s. Such incredible musicians. No words will cover it. Feel so blessed to have seen them as many times as I did dragging all my friends along to dance. Will never forget the day I met them the first time. I was so excited to finally see them Id been waiting for months. We were so lucky to have them. It’s difficult to imagine a world without them. I struggle more each day.

I moved to Austin only a few months after this was filmed. I’ve seen Lady Bird Lake, those bridges, and probably even that boat before. Everyday for weeks. It’s so strange to see them somewhere so familiar, and to know what would happen to them not long after. Id heard their music only after their deaths, and I looked it up here. This video is the first thing I watched. After that I forgot about them, only listening to them after I came to Texas. Now their passing feels so much more real. I knew someone else who’d been killed the exact same way as them, and now I really do think it’s the worst way to die. Hope their families are doing okay, and them too, if that’s how it works. I can only hope.

they were so young, passionate about what they did, and immensely talented. they had so much more to bring to this world and deserved so much better. i’m so sad we lost them. i miss them everyday. i’m so glad we have their music to keep them alive through.. 💐

I absolutely love this song. It's sad to know they're gone and in such a tragic way too. I'd like to think they're all on that boat just jamming and having a good time. May they Rest In Peace 💙💛

It makes me really happy that every video I see of them, the comments are nothing but positivity. They were such beautiful souls, so inspiring. Once I get new instruments, a hers song is the first song I'm going to learn. Their music is beautiful and it makes me happy when I hear it, I'm so grateful for them, gone too soon though💔

Why I discovered this band just now? :( I was listening to The Smiths playlist then Spotify played this song after all of the songs from my list has finished streaming. It's weird to discover a new band and to know that they no longer here with us. Rest in power boys.
