Having the lock on trigger is a must for me on a rat tail grinder. It enables you to either be able to choke up on the grinder for occasional finer control, or one handed operation. Also a must for longer grinding/cutting jobs, otherwise you get additional hand fatigue having to constantly keep the trigger depressed.

Where was the review where they took it apart? Also you don’t need the wrench to change the blade

I'm sorry - I didn't bookmark the teardown. I just use the wrench to snug the blade - I'm paranoid lol.

@@themessygarage It was on sale I bought it, that things a beast I was like, wait I can actually put some force behind this and push it into the metal without it binding up? Yes if I have the wrench I use it, I do this stuff professionally and a lot of times run into situations where I just don’t have it on me. You can always use a channel lock, ext if you want to be safe, I’ve been doing it by hand for years. If your blades not flimsy you can push button down and “roll” the blade to tighten it if that makes sense. Always use your gaurd and keep your body out of the blade path and you’ll be fine. I was afraid of grinders for a long time, of all my tools it’s one of the ones I worry the least about now. Palm router is the one I’m the most cautious around
