Are you going direct/amp-less? Been having issues dialing in the tone, let alone being able to hear myself (even with in-ears). Sound setup at our church is less than sub par, this sounds great man!

Great guitar sound. How is your signal path? My guitar sound in my in ears is so unsatisfying. It’s thin and harsh in a way and I don’t know why. It sounds great through the frfr though. Do you have any tips? Thanks
@IvanXavier
8 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! Signal chain is long but simple. Preamp/EQ-Compression-Drives-Special fx-Amps. Quality cabling and a buffer is a must BUT that doesn't guarantee a great sounding signal at church. Sometimes you can have the best gear but if the sound engineers aren't the best then it will still sound harsh.

When the chorus comes in at 1:13 I just loose my mind. Again at 5:30 for that solo…. God help me!! Then you see the how dynamic this guitar and the guitarist and from 8:30 we go into drones and the rest is heaven!

Why you wear a hat gotta respect the house of the Lord
@DbiPro
29 күн бұрын
In the USA it’s Normal. Most leaders prefer that someone comes decent than to make someone have a bad experience and leave church. There’s nothing wrong with caring about people’s feelings and also not showing favouritism to the ones who started doing it before. As a leader I’ll never make someone feel bad for dressing a certain way but we always ask people to come in a way you’d come if You could see someone as important as God come to you and speak to you. The bible says if someone doesn’t feel bad about something don’t be the one to make them feel bad. That’s what Satan was doing day and night relentlessly which is to accuse you for your shortfalls. That’s why Jesus Died for us. Don’t take it the wrong way but don’t go out of your way for something God himself isn’t going out of his way to change. He wants his life his soul his worship. His holiness in him. Judgment is coming and it’s not going to be about the hat you wore every Sunday.
@IvanXavier

@DbiPro, Love this! @Wesley-vm4qc Simply speaking, I don't have any conviction for wearing a hat on stage. Now, if my leaders or Pastors asked me not to wear one, I would 100% obey regardless of the reason out of respect for those who hold higher authority than myself. But it is allowed, and up until now, I have not had anyone tell me that their faith is wavering because they see me wear a hat on stage. If someone had, I most definitely would stop wearing one. God Bless!
