Bring back the budget focused design shows. Far too many six-figure renovations.

There are no more garden shows on Home and GARDEN TV. The bulk of the shows are competitions. No longer a teaching channel but a game show channel

*Bring back Curb Appeal! Also, we are kind of sick of the married couples on all of the shows. It’s redundant and unnecessary. No one wants to see the twins on EVERY show! Bring some diversity!*

Curb Appeal was always my favorite show; $20,000 for a major change in the ugliest house in the neighborhood. I especially loved the part where they renovated a neighbor's front yard for $800 or less.

My favorite has always been the Rehab Addict. She got in there, did what needed to be done, explained and moved on. I tune(d) in to see that, not personal stuff, such as trying on clothes, IVF traetments, a kid going to the dentist, a kids baseball game. Even Maine Cabin Masters has gone this direction and it is the worng one. Also quite disgusted with a host whining because the client "only has $600,000 for a renovation budget". HGTV has adopted the Fixer Upper formula: open floor plan, "fun" light fixture, unforseeable disasters, etc. All very dull and predictable.

HGTV is my go to channel when there is nothing else I'd rather watch. It's unfortunate that viewership is declining. Here are a few of my personal ideas that would help keep me engaged even more often. 1. Add more shows like Bargain Block, featuring new, exciting lessons and challenges with likable hosts. 2. Reimagine old favorites such as "HGTV Design Star," "Design on a Dime," and "Designing for the Sexes." 3. Definitely keep House Hunters; that's my favorite show, although I know it's staged. 4. Unfortunately, I've OD'd on everything, including "Property Brothers," "Flip or Flop" (post the divorce), and "Ugliest Home in America." I always switch the channel if any of those three shows are on, and some others too.

Have not watched HGTV in over 2 years. No idea why - maybe 21+ years was enough for me.

I cancelled cable TV because the shows aren’t interesting. I live on the west coast and then shows terrible. I want to see what improvements I can make in my home on a budget, not some overpriced remodeling. Loved Chip & Joanne Gaines, but I never have to watch Lottery Home, he’s scary looking. Same goes for the Food TV…..they need to revamp their entire west coast time scheduled programs.

Who wants to watch 12 hours of the same show, not me. And many shows are the same premise, need diversity. I watch less and less of hgtv.

I love HGTV but I do hate when they have the same show for hours at a time... so tiring to watch... There are also periods where there are no new content. But there do have some that are great.
