Excellent. We love lentil soup but this is a great lentil way to eat them.

I love this video and recipe! I have only ever used lentils in a crockpot lentil and sausage soup recipe. Thank you for some new ideas!

I sauté onions and garlic with olive oil first. It’s good to see other lentil recipes. I learned to cook lentils from my grandma who was from Sicily.

@@IWantToCook I also just tried making the homemade croutons tonight and they turned out quite well for my first try at it! Thank you for the inspiration!

I'm s lentil lover! They're just so easy to throw into most recipes that you might already be making - perfect for stews, salads, curries, roast veggies, whatever.

Two things I really like but rarely use are lentils and quinoa. Your recipe looks delicious. I ordered some aleppo pepper and have been using that for a little heat. I like it so much that I've been using it in almost everything. Do you ever use it?

Right on! You know, another friend recently told me about aleppo peppers. I don't think i've worked with those yet, so now i'm even more curious. Lately i've been grinding dried little ones called tepin that really pack a punch. Try them if you like the idea of red pepper flakes that are even better and much hotter. As for quinoa, that's another favorite of mine. Here's how to make it in a rice cooker, if interested. And pls forgive the quality of this video; it was an early one on this channel: kzitem.info/news/bejne/lISArJiuk4R2p4Ysi=rYTfSt-EHbrYVFlJ

@@IWantToCook I will check it out. I used to make a quinoa tabbouleh fairly often. That's something I intend to get back to this summer. I had a home accident and have had a lot of trouble standing for very long to cook. I'm doing better and better each day, so this summer I'll be back to cooking. Maybe I'll even be able to finish that video I promised.

Hi, If there is a number on the Corning Ware Dish and Lid, would you mind listing them? I am a Corning Ware lover too and NEED one like that! Thanks! Katy

Yes! It says MC-1-B. Its design reminds me of the vintage Pyrex refrigerator boxes, but this has a different style glass lid and small feet on the bottom. I’ve never seen another like it in person, but do see some listed on eBay. Cheers 🙏

I'm so glad you curve your fingers under when you cut something (but of course, you're a chef so you know anyways). I get so nervous watching other cooking videos on youtube where they don't do that. I always think something like this is going to happen. kzitem.info/news/bejne/xomu3Gp_gHSYeYY But they wouldn't post the video if it did...hopefully!

Thank you! They taste more like peas to me, yet are firmer in texture. Try some 😀
