I love the easy to see center display in my Prius. At only 5 feet tall, the steering wheel in traditional vehicles always blocked my view of the display. Back in 2013, I purchased a brand new 2013 Toyota Prius in cash. I love my Prius!. The best trouble free, reliable investment I ever made. Today in 2021 with regular scheduled maintenance, my Prius continues running like new, zero issues, zero repairs, incredibly reliable, amazingly low fuel consumption and fuel expense. I retired this year and it looks like my Prius will outlast me.

Going downhill your battery gets filled with your regenerated energy until its 100% filled. If your car is still getting faster, you use the "B " mode. This will start up you petrol engine, so you can use the compression of the ICE engine to reduce speed even further. This way you don't use or overheat the break pads. So, the "B" mode is useless in normal traffic, because it will start your ICE engine, so keep the car in "ECO" mode will driving normally in traffic. Get rid of that reverse beep sound by connecting your phone to the car using a bluetooth or WiFi ODB2 dongle and start your Dr.Prius app. Then you can switch of that annoying sound.

They said YES and when I got there they did NOT have a Camry similar to what I wanted on the lot so they had lied to me. The only other Toyota Dealership was about 40 minutes away. It wasn't really about the distance of the other Dealership it was about the experience I had overall with Toyota. The beeping sound when in Reverse is annoying to some people, but not to all people. There have been times I mistakenly shifted into Drive instead of Reverse. Finally, my guess is the centering of the dashboard display is to help the driver keep the eyes centered on the road.
